Masterful producer @YUKSEK returns to RNT with the Déjà Vous EP of all-original modern disco. She’s Mine leads with a rolling percussive beat and Italo baseline and layers emotive piano chords and plaintiff vocals, to hearken back to a nostalgic era of indie disco. On the flip side, the EP title track collab with Brazilian producer Diogo Strausz brings expected tropical flavor, and All Night feels a bit French-touchy with it’s infectious phase effected vocal loop. Accessible hooks and solid production, this is a handy one for the bag!

Razor-N-Tape is proud to present the first single off the forthcoming Nomi Ruiz & Eli Escobar album “Love Louder”. The long-standing collaboration between influential dance music selector/DJ/producer Eli Escobar and critically acclaimed vocalist/songwriter Nomi Ruiz has been years in the making.

The two Puerto Rican New York native’s first collaboration in 2011 ‘Desire’, released on Stretch Armstrong's Plant Music, was an electrifying club track turned torch song. They’ve since collabed on various releases together,  such as their 2013 cover of Boy George's ‘Somebody To Love Me’ released on Nervous Records, and “Shadow Dancer” released in 2015 as part of Nomi’s Jessica 6 electro-pop outfit, so it was only natural for the duo to launch an official joint project.

The first single Full Fantasy is an emotional dance track that layers Nomi’s emotive vocals over 90s freestyle-influenced production for a sound that is quintessentially NYC. 

 In the words of Nomi Ruiz: Full Fantasy is a very escapist track referencing the old freestyle song ‘Fantasy Girl’ which was a quintessential New York City summer love song. Letting guards down, letting lust seep in, losing yourself to desire.

The Berlin label comes up with a heavy package of remixes for Sam Ruffillo & Kapote’s  „Robot Salsa“ EP. 
The Latin House EP by the 2 Italian producers. This stuff is the perfect floor filler for the summer of 2025. While the Afro house wave has reached its peak and is becoming a bit „tacky“ a lot of underground DJs turned into playing different styles of Latin music connected to electronic dance. And here we got Salsa and Boogaloo turned into 90ies house and indie dance. All of these will make the dancers get their hands in the air. Smiling faces and a lot of endorphins secured.

Cody Currie & Kapote together in the studio! Delivering a 4 track EP that connects proto-disco, neo soul, Chicago house beats and jazz funk in a very spontaneous, super catchy way.
Cody, the London multi-talent musician, and Kapote, the Berlin-based creative head of Toy Tonics have a lot in common. Both come from studying jazz, knowing different instruments, having played in bands, and at the same time being DJs with a huge passion and the skill to rock thousands of people every weekend at the Toy Tonics Jams with a wild mix of different music. They have what we call THE VIBE. Soulful, catchy, intense. When they play records at a party and when they work on tracks. Both play keyboards, bass, guitar, and drums. Both sing. And both have funny nicknames that journalists gave them: Cody Currie was called “the Tom Misch of House music” and Kapote the “Wes Anderson of electronic music”. Makes us laugh but also fits well. And yes: Both are a bit crazy... like every extremely talented musician.

J. Peacock is back for the Dirt Crew Summer take over once more! After his last collab release with Laurence Guy on “Shall Not Fade” in March this year we are delighted to welcome him again with four new deep and funky tunes.

“I’m Doing Just Fine”  is all about the strings. There's a certain feeling in northern soul records – cinematic, bittersweet – and sampling that energy became the starting point for the whole EP. On this track, the vocal hides just behind the strings, giving it a hazy feel. A loopy, dreamlike cut nods to the 2016 lo-fi house era. “Keep Running ” has a swelling, string-led groove built around a hypnotic soul sample. “Deep Burnt” is one of J. Peacock’s all-time favourite tracks and a big influence here. Urgent and euphoric, a driving rhythm with strings to carry the emotional weight.

“Can’t Go Nowhere” is a slower, more restrained moment on the EP. Inspired by the likes of Cottam, Mark E, and Tiger & Woods, this is a chugging, early-hours builder made for warm-up sets and low ceilings. A nod to the art of holding back just enough to keep people moving. “Hometime” brings together two of his favourite things: dusty soul samples and the raw grit of the MS-20. The analogue synth gives the track it’s edge, the bassline is constantly shifting and alive while the smoothness of the sample keeps everything in check.
