Really nice combination of sounds right out of the gate.

Loving the Bossa ... nice playing of your solo - alwasy like to hear that.

sorry to say but I had to switch off this track now. overall good mood etc. but the sound of lead solo is tragic. I tried listening this with my friends and they told me to switch that terrible buzzing sound off. Nice concepts but me and my friends were not able to survive more than 2mins of this track :)

Butterfly Surge

Just a fun and colorful techno track partly inspired by artists such as YMO and Rei Harakami. Contains a mix of self-made and modified factory sounds.

This was made in Bitwig 5.1.2. It contains the following:

1x Stock Peak Limiter
1x Audiority Polaris (for slight reverb of the EPiano)
4x Stock Arpeggiators (for some drum sounds)

The picture was taken by me at a craft fair. Those stained glass bike gears were so cool!

Created with "CA2600" virtual synthesizer from Cherry Audio. 31 instances used to create a track.

This instrument is an emulation of a very famous and rare ARP2600 semi-modular synthesizer from the 70's. It allows the creation of some very interesting and complex sounds, mostly inspired by retro sci-fi movies and electronic music of the era.

Its a single Grid patch triggering 2* 24 Oscillators tuned in the overtone row. One set plays the first 24 overtones, the other set plays the first 24 prime number overtones. Each oscillator in a set has a different speed. I modulate the waveforms and the attack and decay times of the oscillators, which creates the changing sounds...
