Jesus said that the man who does this will be like a man who builds his house on a rock and, the storms and changes of life will not be able to cause that person to fall. Matt 7:24-27.
The church is called "the foundation and pillar of truth". It should always, through all times and generations, stand for and proclaim God's eternal truth, in spite of where the world, driven by the spirit of the Antichrist, is turning. 1 Tim 3:15.

Ephesians Our possessions in Christ Lesson 1:  Many Christians are not able to stand against the enemy. They live defeated Christian lives because they do not have a revelation of their inheritance in Christ. Paul first talks about what we have in Christ as a foundation for his teaching in later chapters on a victorious Christian life. Many Christians today are living as paupers, not realizing the tremendous wealth they have in Christ. Paul lists the riches that are ours in this first chapter of Ephesians.
