Far Away is the third single from Sonya Teclai's highly anticipated Heatwave EP. With its' new age R&B sound, hard-hitting bass, and Sonya's ability to sultrily sing while bouncing around the beat...the track is undeniable. Far Away, produced by $/\UCE and Marzboygenius, is reminiscent of the 90's with an innovative twist.

"I chose 'Far Away' because I love the drum patterns and the juxtaposition of it with the content. The song is about the feelings I've dealt with in the past when I noticed rifts in my old relationships. When you're fighting to make it work because you love them, but also realize your happiness is being compromised and that's not something you're willing to let go of to be with them. That's always a difficult position to be in, where no one really wants to step up and initiate that it's not working or come to that conclusion because they fear being without the other. The song goes through the motions of it...with an ill bounce so you're not wallowing."

R&B songstress Tweet returns after a brief hiatus with new music, ready to take to the road again in 2013. Her new EP entitled Simply Tweet shows her musical growth over recent years and demonstrates her renowned silky smooth vocal abilities.

The sultry sounds of the talented and revitalized Tweet will resume its "humm" into R&B February 26th. Reawakening the genre and staking her claim within the year of the Comeback, Tweet is ready to be heard. Like a boxer, she's coming out swinging with her powerful ballad Enough, talking directly to the ladies and letting them know that its okay to let go. Deemed "the sickest artist with a pen" by Missy Elliott, Tweet prepares to re-enter the music world with Fire and Grace. Her strong belief in God has allowed her to stay grounded, be a great support to her family and has propelled her to the top, spiritually and mentally, now back to the music. Despite her hiatus, she has always lent her ear to what is out and kept a pen in hand.

Her voice — powerful at times, soft at others — is the focal point of the EP as it glides over songs and adapts to the different beats, which include soul ("Day Dreaming") and contemporary R&B ("Enough"). "Sorry" reminiscent of Al Green belts out how easily she could just be gone, while enacting a feeling of empowerment in the imagery of the closing door. While each track begins to invade your soul, you're reminded what real R&B used to be and understand why she's needed and the time is now.

Who is on the album....Simply Tweet. This time around the artist wanted nothing more than to give you herself. Her image...fresh, clean, and girl next door sexy. She's always taking the time to remind women that being themselves is sexy enough. Cool as a fan, Tweet has always said "You can call me" and with that stunning smile and east coast persona, she's here to answer.

In March 2002, Tweet entered the charts with her debut solo single, "Oops (Oh My)", a risqué song about self-loving and appreciation. The song was produced by Timbaland and featured guest vocals by Missy Elliott. The single hit number one on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and number seven on the Billboard Hot 100, with the help of a remix featuring Fabolous. In April 2002, Tweet released her debut album Southern Hummingbird to mostly strong reviews. The album featured production by Craig Brockman, Nisan Stewart, guitarist John "Jubu" Smith, Timbaland (who contributed four tracks) and Tweet herself. It also featured guest vocals by Elliott on "Oops (Oh My)",Bilal on "Best Friend", and BeatClub Records' Ms. Jade on "Sexual Healing (Oops Pt. 2)", and included a bonus track performed by Elliott, "Big Spender". The album was filled with soul-stirring vocals and lyrics taken from Tweet's own life experiences. The album spawned another two singles, Timbaland-produced "Call Me", and the radio single "Smoking Cigarettes", which had a video shot and directed by Little X but was never released. The album debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 chart.
