Reflectile - Kickstarter Trailer

An old track from 2011 I made based on some chords MarkeyJester had written for a song in one of his many homebrew projects over the years. I still really enjoy how this turned out.

Somebody pointed out that the guitar solo near the end kind of sounds like Tidal Tempest Good Future from the US Sonic CD soundtrack. I never realized this initially, so my bad for the unintentional ripoff. :P

TOHO QUEST - Chapter 9/13

Hoot’s kind are nowhere to be seen. It must’ve been a long time since their era had past, and Hoot seems to be the last. Distraught, she takes the team to the ancient archives, said to hold ancient information of her people. Toho and Otoh believe there may be a lead on the Tune as well… The gold embroidered columns of the Archives lay before them, and they all begin their search. After delving into the books lining the walls, the Tune’s location seems to be the last known place where Hoot’s people left the world in search of enlightenment. She sits in silence at a table, realizing she’s been left behind.
Toho and Otoh, on their search for information of the tune, are searching elsewhere. They eventually find a time-worn map hidden behind a curtain of a wall. Pulling the curtain back, a revelation is revealed to them! Marked on the map lies a chasm dubbed the Great Cleft by the ancients. It seems to be far south of the world on the surface. Returning to Hoot with great news, they find her in a rather unfortunate deposition. They both sit around her and try to cheer her up. She looks up eventually, laughing at their attempts to raise her hopes. With a newfound resolve to find her people and even newer friends by her side, she officially joins the team!
