I liked the first minute, then I expected a change that didn't come

I admire that you avoided the obvious drum track.

Harmonically I think all is well, melodically the track is hurt by indecision, or so it sounds to me. Sections start off with a clear idea, which works fine for a bit, then deteriorates on repetition.  I like the sound of your background pad, btw.

sometimes less is more! ...sometimes more is more... sometimes less is more ...desirable!

i like the evolution of lead melodies with the bass gated, like in the 90s trance

nice theme, but as was mentioned elsewhere, I think I was missing some sort of more defined change along the way

An entry for One Synth Challenge 186 at KVR Audio

Synths: U-he Tyrell N6 (24) &  Zebralette 2 (2). Seventeen ( voice-split ) patches, from scratch as always , including six percs and four FX.  Assisted by TDR Nova ( general nip-and-tuck channelstrip duties ) , ReaDelay, HY-Delay , Bittersweet ( softening a delay, )  Kazrog KClip ( drumbus ) , and BlueArp

Reverb buses: MuVerb, Oril River, and Protoverb. Pre-emphasised, de-emphasised, shaped, compressed, softened and panned  by TDR Nova, Flux Bittersweet and HOFA SYS Pan. 

Shaped, sharpened, spatialized and louderized ( to -12 LUFS ) at the master level by TDR Nova, Flux Bittersweet, Protoverb, HOFA TiltEQ and  Limiter No6

A gospel tune using just one free synthesizer for the monthly KVR OSC contest. Edit - it was actually two synths this month.

Made For KVR OSC 186 Any 2 Synths - I used Nakst Apricot - 15 Instances and Odin 2 - 1 Instance

Third Party Fx: analyser - Voxengo Span, Voxengo Marvel GEQ.

Basically I was unable to take part in the Apricot round, so this was my chance. It's based around a 5 beat arpeggio I created with this synth. I thought I might use more of Odin 2, but ended up using it just for the snare.
This track is dedicated to my lovely Jenny who in spite of many current ailments managed to walk several miles of difficult coastal path to get the photo of a waterfall for my cover pic. :)

Created with "Synth1" virtual synthesizer. 38 instances used to create a track.

My setup: 38 instances of Synth1 and Synth1 (and Tritik "Krush" as my "full 11" effect).

The VST legend. Still in beta (more than 20 years already). Lightweight, sleek and versatile. And I found it best for making extremely distorted sounds.
