this is my favourite classical piece ever written, fuck this is one of my favourite songs ever written, i stumbled across this song again via accident one day in 2023 and became obsessed and im not talking about listening to it on repeat (which i did) i full on did research about this song and erik satie as a whole. i literally spent my free periods and study periods to research erik satie and his whole life and the creations of gymnopedie like it would kill me if i didnt know every single piece of information about it LOL. i thought it was a new obsession but boy was i wrong LOL, i was doing some digging through my soundcloud likes and saw a song liked called gymnopedie at 3 am and saw i left a comment on it in 2021 LOL about how i love the song or something and idk why i just found it so funny i came back to it 3 years later in a whole different stage in my life, and to make it better i even saw i liked it earlier than that on spotify hahah. even though i know im nothing special like this song and i wont ever impact the world like erik satie and his gymnopedies did, i still like to think i am modern day erik satie and that gymnopedie no 1 is the perfect song to describe me :)
