When I first started working on the Remix Only Gods Know, I was originally planning to go the traditional remix route-- new beat, same rhymes. However, as the instrumentals started coming in, I found myself inspired to start writing again .Thus, the idea of SIDE B (the B Sides, right?) was born. 

Disco Vietnam sent this along and since I had a philly legend on the original, I had to get a NEW philly legend on the sequel! Shoutout to King Merlino for going crazy over this record.

Recorded in Houston at 9am on January 20th... Just sitting around going through beats, and this sample grabbed me immediately. 

We tried out some different stuff before I just sat down and started crafting the record. The singing comes from George. He was humming it under his breath while I was listening to the verse, and he went in and dropped it live for me.
