Germany's Brian Brainstorm returns to the Liondub label to present a massive release showcasing 11 remixes of tracks taken from his Forward EP which released late last year. Brainstorm and Liondub called on an incredible collection of producers from around the world to rework and update these Jungle gems. Brainstorm has always fused Ragga Jungle perfectly with elements of Drum and Bass to create an unmatched modern sound, and all of the remixers up the ante significantly to present new interpretations of tried and tested tracks. Brainstorm has received support from the likes of Grooverider, Aphrodite, Ray Keith, Nicky Blackmarket, TC, Drumsound & Bassline Smith, and this release is sure to find its way into even more sets around the globe. Each remix is guaranteed to hit hard and appeal to wide ranging audiences in the clubs and on the radio. The Forward remix EP is a brilliantly crafted selection of music from one of Germanys top producers and the Liondub International label.

Dutta is the young Mancunian on a mission. Part of a broader cohort which includes the likes of Bou, Kanine and others, Dutta nails the tough, rough and urban-edged sound that's proliferated so much at the moment. This release is exactly that, a dirty expression of urban grit but one that's still pointed through with a certain element of playfulness and lightheartedness. A lot of music takes itself to seriously, not this release. The first track is called 'Nutella', which tells you all you need to know. It's a banger as well, with a swirling whisper of wobbly frequencies underpinning its stomping percussive lines. Stompz also makes a feature on the release - big stuff here.
