I am a performance poet/ spoken word artist, published poet, former backing vocalist, visual artist and community and trade union activist. I am the co-founder and national co-chair of Black Activists Rising Against Cuts (BARAC UK) and a member of the PCS Union National Executive Committee. In 2010 I was a finalist and 1 of 5 Peoples Choice finalists in Manorlogz Xtreme Spoken Word contest.
