Nagyvárad egy elhagyatott pincéjének tetején rögtönöztünk legalább thrillerbe illő “Requiem egy álomért” számot. A zene dráma-motívumait úgy értük el, hogy szándékosan nem hagytuk egymást megnyugodni.

On the top of a deserted cellar, we improvised a thriller track named  “Requiem for a dream” in Nagyvárad. We enjoyed the drama-motives of the music as we frightened each other.

Egy fodrászszalon padlóján ülve hangolta el a citeráját Helga. A furcsa elhangolás és az idilli hangulat szülte a Bee zenei történetét, melyben minden lebeg és nem múlik el a fény.

We were sitting on the floor of a barber shop when Helga untuned her zither. The unusual mistune and the idyllic feeling created the music story of Bee, in which everything is levitating and the light will never fade away.

The psychedelic tribal motives and getting into the trance state give a task to ZitheRandom – while we are playing goa, we unite and connect to our audience. The main theme of the track is a Hungarian folk song, called “Hej, halászok, halászok…”.

Nem csak két citerán játszhatunk ketten, hanem egy citerán is… A “Bogdan”-ban Helga és Krisztián egymással szemben áll, középen pedig egy citera élvezi négy kéz játékát.

We are not only able to play on two separate zithers, but also on a common one. In “Bogdan” Helga and Krisztián stand in front of each other while the zither in the middle enjoys the motions of the four hands.

A magyar népdalok egyik legősibbje, a “Felszállott a páva…” kezdetű dallam, és a blues hangsor kerül fúzióba a “Páva Blues”-ban. Ősi és modern összefonódása nem kevés humorral.

The zither improvisation of Helga Debreczeni-Kis and Krisztián Dömény is the spontaneouos mixing of jazz, folk music, contemporary composing and pop music, in which the moment creates fusions, the meeting of inner worlds dialogues, playing and harmony. Melodies of folk music, ancient shamanistic rituals, and even blues circles, which seem to be far from the zither-style, can be heard in our concert.
