After the global success of their first EP of 2016, ‘On’, including remixes by Techno legend Paco Osuna and Chloé, Monkey Safari is the name on everyone’s lips, and summer lineups. Now they’re out with their follow-up EP entitled ‘Bernstein’ with two original tracks and remixes by none other than John Digweed & Nick Muir as well as Spanish DJ and producer UNER. This release showcases the German brothers’ darker side, combining deep trance-like rhythms with resonant sounds. At the same time, the release pulls you in with dreamy, head-in-the-clouds melodies, perfect for both sunrise and deep club sets alike.  

This release demonstrates Sven and Lars’ move into the limitless domain of the “experimental” since the launch of their new label ‘Hommage.’ As their career grows and transforms, it becomes more and more clear that they have found a medium in which to display their differing genre preferences and production styles. Monkey Safari is demanding the attention of industry heavyweights as evident by their 2015 collaborations with artists like Guy Gerber, Kölsch, Marc Houle, Wolf + Lamb, Josh Wink, as well as one of dance music’s most iconic producers, Moby. In 2016 the evidence of Monkey Safari’s growing allure is made clear by the two otherworldly remixes released on the ‘Bernstein’ EP. John Digweed & Nick Muir’s remix of ‘Plexus,’ brings in a more soulful, synthy take on the original. In UNER’s remix of ‘Bernstein,’ the Spanish producer’s musical training radiates through, making it a sure-fire hit this summer.

Rising Australian producer Jad & The is back on Toy Tonics with a stack of smooth and cleverly constructed tracks found on his 'Strings Never Win' EP, including the disco-tinged title track primed for the dancefloor.

Following releases on Mike Simonetti's 2MR, Sonar Kollektiv and Centre Source Records, @jad-lee has been steadily making his presence felt within the underground community focusing on soulful house. His latest work touches on multiples aspects of his sound with motifs of balearic rhythms and retro melodies. The new material is definitely right at home on Toy Tonics.

Premiere: Jad & The 'Strings That Never Win'

French producer Folamour launches Moonrise Hill Material, a label he co-founded with Ethyene, Kaffe Crème and Okwa, with his second album titled 'Umami'. 

At just over ten minutes, 'Devoted To U' is the longest track on the album, but rightfully so. The ballad takes listeners on a sonic journey through Folamour's dancefloor-focused motif with warm textures and infectious rhythms. 

The album itself is an ode to his love of Japanese culture. Expect to find a diverse mix of house, disco swing and future jazz when 'Umami' is released on September 29.

I originally made this track when I first moved to San Francisco after graduating. It was inspired by the views around The Marina, like the Marina Green, Golden Gate Bridge, and the Palace of Fine Arts. 

I debuted this track as my closing track immediately before Above & Beyond in Newport Beach on New Years.

This record represents the "idealistic life" that we all try to achieve...but life sometimes throws roadblocks at you; it's a made-up intersection to describe this idealistic home.

This track is one of my personal favorites, but I felt like it needed a little "boost" to be played in my sets, so I made a club mix. It is out now along with 3 other amazing remixes of Embarcadero EP from Richard Knott, Genix, and Oliver Smith: https://anjunabeats.lnk.to/SBERmxs
