Be sure to listen with headphones and crank it up!  This track was totally random as I bought a Fender Strat and just replaced the pickups and got this ton heard in the song.  I didn't like the Strat until I changed the pickups and dialed in the amp.  The drum track was I recorded 1st.  I mixed in mostly the bass drum and actually did a triplet hi hat overdub to help smooth out the drum track.  I like odd tunings and usually use my ear to adjust the strings to what I am liking at the moment.  This tuning sounded really good, like a cord and I am not a big fan of a wammy bar but something clicked and I started playing this riff to give it a dreamy quality.  I laid the vocals over as I normally do, last.  I'll start off with vocalizations and them concoct lyrics once I get a cadence I like.  I was feeling a little blue after getting excited about a project and it ended up falling though so the lyrical content is about that situation.
