Most things about this project has been crudely rushed together, out of spite of my own overthinking.

How Does It Feel To Be Real

My first true live (doing things on vsts), played at Summer Break.
Opening night with a cinematic glitch set.

The first 27mn43 are taken from a live recording which got cut due to a missclick, the rest comes from my daw and is not edited.

Your journey has led you to a mysterious looking portal. Holes in the floor try to bite you and the tentacles sticking from it get more erratic the closer you come. Your instincts tell you it's a bad idea, but you feel an irresistible urge to see what's on the other side. The light is so bright and shiny...the ambience coming from it, so soothing. And it's not like you have much to look forward to in your own world..."fuck it", you say, and get past the tentacles.

You take a step into the unknown and suddenly feel the light surrounding you and filling your entire body. It feels...stretchy. Maybe a little too stretchy. It keeps pushing and pushing and pushing and your skin feels tighter and tigher and...

Oh. You died. Like, combusted.

I don't really know what to do now, I wasn't prepared for that situation.

While "INTRUDER" was somewhat a teaser for my 2024 album, this is just a very out of pocket random release lol. I was asked to make a song with the vague concept of "main character dying in the middle of the song'' and I proceeded to do just that! Made this one all in one session and it was so.fun.to.make. You all voted for this as the 1st single, so we're obliging. But you should all be warned....... There are some rumours. Supernatural rumours. Fatal rumors. Even. Word of mouth intones this disk was derived from a beached ammonite. Huge: 4 foot diametre. Pungent, evil aura. Every grabber someone tried to snatch it w/ exploded, so scrapers did it old fashioned. Tied ropes around it and dragged it off the beach. People are saying the track is a direct data result of scanning that ammonite - && that the people who scanned it all disappeared within 3 days. Or never existed to begin with. We managed to get a copy via PRIVATE MEANS and passsed it around the house. All the hardware we play it on melts into vile mush and emits nightmare-inducing narcotic fumes. Exonet whispers say fume overexposure is making people drop dead, black tar leaking out their nostrils. Dunno if I believe, but it's 1000% sinister. Anyway we played it on everything and melted all our shit and now I'm writing the update on a fucking Calculator. I have as long to write as it takes for someone to figure out how you can play the track on this too. GOOD SONG.
