This VA seeks to unveil the immaculate metric, the perfect alchemy of harshness and gentleness, of grace entwined with violence. For beauty and brutality arise at the very conception of narrative: twin, complementary forces of life that awaken novelty, the eternal cosmic dance of creation and destruction.

The music unfolds as testimony: bass lines that strike with raw force, melodies that embrace with tenderness. Each track reminds us that joy and sorrow are carried in the same breath, that collapse and renewal, despair and devotion, walk hand in hand.

The artists offer fragments of their journeys: trials endured, spirits broken and restored, their commitment renewed in sound. This is not only music but witness, a reminder that to love the world as it is, in its wounds and wonders, is the hardest vow.

Beauty and brutality are not enemies, but mirrors, reflecting us back to ourselves, guiding us toward wholeness and awakening.

Let this compilation speak where words fall short: of darkness and light, of heaviness and grace, of the paradox at the heart of existence. A sonic invocation to face the abyss, and to love it anyway.

Can you believe we’re past our first 10 dnb vinyl releases? And we’re opening the second 10 with something really big – a hell of a track by Handra and Mystic State, accompanied by a superb remix by Fre4knc on the flipside. “Side Effects” – as that’s the title of the track in question – is all about that bass (hehe). That booming bassline, lifting the finely - programmed, soft beats up and down, adding some additional depth to the mysterious synthetic growling creeping up on the listener in the background. The single offers also yet another shade of the main course. Fre4knc dissects the original bits and pieces and puts them together in a new fashion, creating a dynamic roller driven by a no-nonsense continuous bassline, spicing things up with some heavy breakbeat choppage here and there. All in all, we’re treating you to a healthy portion of low frequencies, well-rounded, tasty beats, and a range of diverse additives that cause no harmful side effects (yup, pun intended)

Inperspective Records proudly debuts Shiken Hanzo’s inaugural full-length album titled ‘Fate Worlds’! 

Shiken Hanzo is an artist not easily forgotten. His sound splices the fractious traditions of jungle with more ambient touches and this hybridisation has us incredibly excited to bring you his first full length album - ‘Fate Worlds’. 

In doing so, his boundless creativity is brandished through complete artistic freedom. The result is a special blend of foreboding atmospherics and tightly-bound percussive force, an odyssey of an album which takes influences from across the jungle spectrum and twists them into a unique musical journey. Hanzo's record on label's like Samurai Music and Cylon Recordings is clearly audible, a palpable legacy that has given breadth to his current creative purpose: to make ever-evolving music with no respect for conventions or boundaries.  

A thirteen-track mastery straight from the underground, ‘Fate Worlds’ constructs a complex cinematic universe - sonically rich and texturally sophisticated. Iconic tracks, such as 'Book of Soyga', are emblematic of this approach; an eerie, kick-heavy track named after an Elizabethan treatise on magic - an arcane, paranormal backdrop juxtaposed with futuristic vocal leads and technoid bassline murmurs. At the other end of the spectrum is 'Taoist Elements', a rhythmic sledgehammer built upon the shifting sands of breakbeat hypnotism and one which brings a laser-like focus on dancefloor momentum. This confidence to adapt and infuse is eminent through-out the album and results in a raw and unforgiving display of boisterous ingenuity. 

A truly sensational start to 2021, ‘Fate Worlds’ demonstrates Hanzo's eclectic range and superb talent, as well as Inperspective’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of jungle - this is undeniably a great stride forward in that journey.

Rotation Audio’s third instalment is an introduction into our digital series. RA003 see's Foreseer making his debut release for the label.

The EP blurs the boundaries between minimal rolling darkness and distorted amen-break percussion. Foreseer teases the listener at points with tracks The Decent and Apparitions, holding solid ground to his original production attitude whilst establishing new techniques from his current workstyle. Tracks Do One and Double Cross resemble a rolling Hardware style deliverance, with similarities from Sicknote & Dissects track Charge on RA002. Merkey lines up on the duo alongside Foreseer with track Double Cross, also making his debut for Rotation.
