I wrote this song Thanksgiving of 2017 on vacation with my family in Lake Tahoe, when everything still made sense to me, when I still felt whole. Fast forward to now and my life is completely different and has been twisted and turned upside down all while slowly spiraling out of control. 
The idea behind the cover art was to represent just that... This is where the song was written so many years ago, and now this is where my fathers ashes are laid to rest. Everything is the same but only different. 
This song goes out to you now Philski I love you so much and will never stop missing you.

Bas Dielissen is an artist and producer who started making music at 8. He completed an audio engineering study in 2011. He attended several masterclasses, including some with Cor Bakker, Deadmau5 and Hans Zimmer. At first, Bas experimented a lot while he was still looking for his sound. He started with a neo-classical piano sound and later switched to pop music. 
Bas is now a full-time musician and producer who spends every single day in the studio. While he has accomplished a lot, the path is still long, and it's only the beginning of a fantastic journey!
