this is goodbye. goodbye to the past, goodbye to my younger self, and to everyone who was once a part of me. the future is waiting - waiting for me to look forward. this is goodbye. 

i have always had trouble letting go. i'm overly sentimental, i hold onto things for too long, and i tend to be too hopeful. sometimes this is good, but sometimes it's blinding and holds you back. an important step i've been needing to take for quite some time now is saying goodbye to the past and truly letting go so i can welcome the next chapter of my life.

i love all of you, and while i may be saying goodbye to a lot of things, this is just the beginning of many others.
