After a bit more production and finessing.  For all its ills (it's my first track after months off from music making, so I'm not being too adventurous with this one), I'm trying to pick up some good habits, most notably putting a good bit of effort into various things that only happen once each in the entire track.

The more obvious influences here include Aphex Twin's Xtal and Sam's Car, and Pete Namlook's slowly rising bass drones.

One night in late 2015, when I went to bed, a very rough version of this song spontaneously popped into my head.  I felt compelled to sneak into the next room and transcribe it.  I since changed it a lot, and the performers contributed a lot too.  Vocals performed by Aisha Ricketts.  Guitar riff and solo performed by Matt Quistorf.

My first track after many months (maybe over a year?) off from music making, to see if I could still make a good track.  It looks like I can get back into the swing of things OK, phew.

The photo is of the painstaking "polyphonic" pad patch, which was really monophonic, recorded one note at a time.
