I can still feel the magic and memories of Reactor Venao while I type this. You could feel the intention that was invested when creating this festival, and what transpired was an experience I will never forget. This set was recorded on my first trip to South Africa, where I performed at a festival and a free show in Soweto alongside local artists Vinny da Vinci , Dj Fresh, Euphonik, Culoe de Song and LSG. All tour dates were partnered with non-profit organisation Bridges for Music. The aim was to use music to break down socio-economic boundaries bringing people from different communities together . 'DE9 Fragments' is a series of fragmented audio edits based upon my live DJ set recordings. Each one will attempt to capture the feeling and direction of the night, giving those who were there a reminder of the events they experienced while giving those who were not present a fragmented distortion of what they missed.

ZOKA`s expertise as a DJ reflects many eras of House music. He is a former resident and booker at the legendary Club ARM in Kassel/Germany, beeing past vinyl label owner (bespmusic/beatsport) and is still active participant in numerous projects and collaborations. His dedication to Kassel’s electronic music scene stems from pure passion and a forward-thinking mindset. Zoka loves discovering new locations and creating boundary-free events. Performances at Kater Blau, Docklands Festival, Garage Basel, as well as gigs in his homeland Bosnia and Herzegovina, plus auditions in Ibiza, Mykonos, and Sardinia, serve as references to his diverse journey.
