This is probably the most personal song I have written. I wrote it after a pretty horrible breakup with a friend. I was angry and I dealt with it the only way I know how, by writing a song. Music to me is like therapy, and after I wrote this, it felt like a weight lifted off my shoulders, and since then it has become one of my proudest pieces of work. With a new producer and a new studio I feel like I finally found my place, my sound, and my people, and I'm so ready to share it with the world.

This song was really fun to write and was inspired by one of my favorite TV shows, Atypical.  I was originally drawn to this story because I related to the characters, and their experiences really resonated with me. So, with this song, I got to step into their shoes and write from their perspective. I find writing about other pieces of media and art to be intriguing and relatable because art is so universal.
