Reverence #2 (handpan duo)

This is a collection of piano pieces based off mostly of improvisational ideas I made back in 2019-2020.  These pieces now I re-recorded with a better sound quality and released as an album.  I feel a close connection to nature, so natural happenings can have a great emotional impact on me. These pieces capture mostly the feeling arose from this source as the titles also suggest. I chose this collection to have my orchestral piece "After the rain comes the sun" as a title, and intro song.

Morning meditation

A little piece I wrote for string quartet in a somewhat neoclassical genre.

 I came up with the main motives of it with nostalgic feelings in mind. Longing for past times, immersed in beautiful memories.

This is a fully improvised handpan-duo played by my handpan teacher Adam Lencse and me.

Handpan duo

This track is a freely improvised song played on two handpans (E-minor and B-minor) and some synth pads for some additional ambience.

I wrote this piece as an exercise and practice for orchestration and programming of a sampled library orchestra (Miroslav Philharmonik).

Chord progression of main theme was influenced by Max Richter's On the Nature of Daylight, a piece I very much admire.

The goal with this track was to go back to my orchestral "fantasy" style  of writing, something like my old "Combat music" was and create something powerful and epic. 
This is what I came up with... there's much room for improvement...

A calm, slow piece written for oboe, English horn, bassoon and a string section,

Hiraeth

Fall is my favorite season of the year, so I made this little improvised piece to capture my emotions about it.

Here you will find pieces I make along the way of trying to get better at writing emotional music for solo piano and orchestral cinematic tracks as well. 
I pretty much appreciate any comment, thought or message so please don't hesitate to share if you have one. :)

Music to me means a language to describe and evoke the deepest feelings we can't have words for. 
I also like to think about music as a way of painting where harmonies are colors, melodies and rhythms give shapes and contours and where the mind of the listener is the canvas.
