Robsoul Recordings launches its 2025 campaign in style with the release of the 'Make Love' EP, an impressive label debut from Italian producer and MPC virtuoso, Bress Underground.
Following a strong 2024, which saw him release on GLB Dom, SNATCH!, Jackies Music, Special Grooves, and Slothboogie, as well as delivering unforgettable sets at iconic venues such as Sisyphos and NYC Downlow (Glastonbury), Bress Underground rolls out a sumptuous four-track selection of impeccable House music.
“The EP was created by mixing a variety of production techniques, including the MPC, sampling, and Ableton Live,” explains Bress Underground, real name Andrea. “These were all projects I’d started and, for whatever reason, remained incomplete for some time. Each track started with a specific mood but evolved into something new as I finished them.”
A love for all shades of House is evident throughout the EP, from the bumping horns and infectious shuffle of opener 'Chick House’ to the smooth, chiming keys and soulful tones of fellow A-side cut 'Keep On’. On the flip 'I Don’t Pray' delivers a powerful, sermon-like groove whilst title track, ‘Make Love,' closes the release with its timeless 303 energy and undeniable dancefloor appeal.

As Bress Underground himself puts it, this EP is “the perfect musical omelette,” blending textures, moods, and influences into a flavorful collection of House tracks.

Following the success of 2023’s Only For Kisses, where he urged us to smooch on the dancefloor, US producer Cory Wells is back on Robsoul with Let’s Move - a groove-laden EP already turning heads, including label boss Phil Weeks.

“Cory is slowly becoming my favourite producer! I've been rocking these 3 tracks since he sent them to me. Perfect dancefloor music with soul,” says Phil.

Leading the charge, the title track Let’s Move shuffles through silky snares and warped keys, laying down a deep, soulful groove. Watch Your Step follows with a thumping kick, hypnotic vocal loops, and psychedelic flutes, before Funk Your Life closes the EP in style - swirling strings, a spoken sermon, and a phat, rolling bassline bringing it home.

Texas-bred, San Francisco-schooled and Berlin based producer, DJ and vocalist Kevin Knapp makes his first solo appearance on Hot Creations. Already a massive Summer Anthem for the Hot Creations and Paradise Crew.. this is shaping up to be one of the singles of the Summer.

Equally adept in the studio, on the decks and behind the mic, Kevin Knapp has emerged from the bustling Bay Area dance music community to international attention, with support from the likes of Matt Tolfrey, Richy Ahmed, Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, Eats Everything, Claude VonStroke and Audiojack. It was only a matter of time before Knapp heard the call of the global techno capital, relocating to Berlin in early 2013.

He’s also become a fixture on the international circuit, gigging across the globe, from Detroit to New Dehli, San Diego to Seoul, and appearing at industry-leading events like Movement (DEMF), ADE and Off-Sonar Week. The next release on Libero comes to us from esteemed Argentinian artist, Gruuve. The Barcelona-based talent presents his ‘Dancing Till We Die’ EP, which comes equipped with two original cuts and an impressive remix from Mexico’s Fhaken. Explicitly upbeat throughout, the entire release boasts emphatic volumes of dancefloor energy from open to close.

First up, ‘Dancing Till We Die’ sets you on your way with ample amounts of momentum from the offset. Intelligently pitched percussive strikes give the track not only a captivating bed of rhythm but also add to its melodic-heavy focus - which progressively envelopes you throughout the journey. Its swaying groove, sultry vocals, piercing highs and rumbling lows will keep your feet moving from beginning to end.

‘Nothing To Say’ adds some more beef to the mix with its thumping energy. Leaning away from rolling momentum and taking on more of a bounce and wave style, the focus here is yet another masterful interweaving of instrumental layers. Sporting a subtle funky undertone, it presents itself as a track that falls firmly into that standout terrace track category. A culmination of flare and class.

Closing the release in a commendable fashion, Fhaken’s remix of ‘Nothing To Say’ adds even more fuel to the fire - taking things up to peak-time stomper level. With a more modern Tech House feel than its predecessors, the mix of thudding kicks, sizzling snares and bright sub-bass notes blend perfectly with that subtle percussive underbelly which shows promising adaptability to our signature Libero sonic signature.
