‘Fire Is The Centre’ features vocal snippets recorded at a Dead By Dawn party sometime between 1994-1996. Some of these snippets had been used on the Dead By Dawn record by Shitness & The Jackal, but here they were embedded in a surging wall of noise spread over the first side of the record, complete with crackles, shrieks and ever mounting intensity.

As the summer is ending and autumn is closing in, we’re happy to present you a special podcast: FrenzyPodcast Number 100 (and 5/5 of the Summer Series)! We’re proud of what we have achieved with the series so far, and that we’ve reached the 100 podcast milestone.

Many great artists expressed their sound on the series, and many more talented artists will come. We’re grateful for the growing support on the series, and we want thank everyone who has been part of the series so far. 

FrenzyPodcast #100 will be provided by the Argentinian/Norwegian artist, and Krill Music label boss, Espen Lauritzen. Espen was born in Norway and raised in Buenos Aires, where he founded Krill Music in 2011. Since then, Espen has left important musical marks as himself and with Krill Music in the South American scene before moving (back) to Europe.

In Europe, Espen refined his sound and released on various labels such as LNDwht’s maiden release (curated by Gareth Wild and Dax J), among others. His work got picked up by Fiedel and was so appreciated that Espen started DJ’ing at Berghain’s Klubacht, hosted by Fiedel himself. Espen currently resides in Kyiv (Ukraine) where he holds a residency at MetaCulture Kyiv, but is at the time being temporary based in Bergen (Norway) to work on various music projects, until the sense of normality returns.

For the milestone FrenzyPodcast, Espen created a stunning 2.5h mix in which he finds the right balance between the deeper spheres and peak-time dancefloor vibes, with the continued focus on a driving sound. Listen to the sound of Espen Lauritzen, and our milestone podcast, here. Enjoy!

All the great energy charge that was poured from the abyssal machines was affecting what was left of the organic life in a big way, the nanopollutants were merging with all the organic life and reprogramming the DNA of nature and the remaining humans.
