Dutch-native @tjade-de-vries marks his maiden release on These Eyes this July with the two-track Balancing Act EP. It continues a standout 2021 for the young talent, which has seen him release on Live at Robert Johnson already this year.

Balancing Act leads the charge, taking no prisoners with a gritty, acid-flecked bassline. Chilling hords soon converge upon uplifting synth rolls, to form a well-balanced dancefloor cut. Means To An End brings things to a close, a near six-minute number that pulls deeply on the heartstrings as soothing pads merge with hard-hitting percussion throughout.

Tjade is one of the most exciting prospects to come out of the Netherlands in recent years. Regularly gracing established labels in the form of Live at Robert Johnson, Mule Musiq and many more besides, several of electronic music’s most-esteemed have picked up his productions in recent years. Most notably is 2019’s Koi Jaye, a track that springboarded him into the global spotlight thanks to plays at DGTL, Dekmantel and AVA by the likes of Palms Trax, Job Jobse and Hunee to name a few.

Master of down-tempo, patron of the chug, and afficionado of silky smooth Balearic beats, Steve Miller aka the real Afterlife, returns in December with the curiously titled ‘Mushroom Pie’. I suppose if you cast a casual glance at the succession of meaningful titles Miller drops, you will locate the heart of his beats and his subterranean psychic voyage to seek out existential bliss, and to question the norm. 
This tasty new collection continues Afterlife’s progression via the cosmic super-funk of title cut ‘Mushroom Pie’, teasing out new rhythms inside a combination of infectious drums and liquid bass, and featuring the pristine, quality vocals of Swedish songwriting genius Hush Forever aka Sebastian Lilja. The original extended also version comes with an edit that hits the high points in crisp time, via a video dazzling the eyes care off some psychedelic mind-play and hi-tech infiltration.
The low-slung and highly addictive ‘Big Bud’ follows grooving along with a head full of riffs, rhythms and swing forming thoughts of sunshine and the expanse of its reverberating melodic depth. ‘Am I Really Here’ continues the vocal theme with a celestial injection of heavenly voices hinting at R&B roots while dancing in-between the stereo of life.  This track again sees Afterlife stepping outside of his comfort zone traversing the pulse of the artists ever evolving imagination. Closing cut ‘Home Planet’ holds sincerity close as uplifting arpeggios roll with the tide to produce a masterpiece of soulful reflection that elevates the senses.

El post-futurismo del Guatemalteco Mike Rowave domina su nueva pista. Un track matizado por lasers levemente subyugados con elementos prototribales por los que se ha hecho conocido este productor. Se logra mantener al mismo tiempo un característico estilo a base de bajos “acidizados” y procesos en sus ritmos base. Un reflejo de la vida diaria de este gadget boy y hacker gris.

On "Shelter", Enzo Kreft takes the listener on a penetrating journey through the human experience in times of crisis and war.
"Standing on the Soil of Another" reflects on the futility of war and the consequences of invading and occupying foreign lands. The lyrics emphasize that true liberation cannot be achieved by force and attempting to do so only causes further harm.

Cómeme is set to release a compilation called Gasoline in August. 

The label, founded by Matias Aguayo about five years ago as an outlet for artists like Rebolledo and Djs Pareja, has long pushed a whimsical yet seriously danceable club sound. Gasoline promises to come from the same mold, delivering nine tracks that are "100 percent dance floor approved by comemian DJs," as the label puts it. Gasoline features a number of artists from the Cómeme stable—Christian S., Djs Pareja and Ana Helder—along with new faces with imminently compatible sounds, like Auntie Flo and Zombies In Miami.

Producers Kasper Bjørke and Jon Atli Helgasson’s second issue for the label, Bullschnitzel, continues in the futuristic techno and dark disco vein of preceding Correspondant releases, here injected with 80s post-punk and cold wave.
The EP’s opener, “I Love The Way You Hold My Hips”, struts at a steady 112 bpm, with an acoustic percussive structure offset by spaced- out synths and smoldering guitar riffs. The remix comes from Red Axes, a joint project from Tel Aviv-based producers and DJs Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, who run the track through a chemical bath for looser sound.
The Mansisters’ second original submission, “Bullschnitzel”, is a soundtrack for subversion and strange phenomena. Tension diffuses through the deployment of escalating drones, cut with off-key synth tunings and a brooding, regular pulse.
Correspondant label head Jennifer Cardini offers up a remix to round out the release.
The syncopated Roland TB-303 rhythms that drive her “Highway to Schnitzel” are adulterated with a heavy dose of acid, nodding toward the diverse dancefloors she’s worked in over two decades in electronic music.

Exclusive Jac The Disco 'Cosmic Matter (Prins Thomas Remix)'

Londoner Jay Rossi, better known under his Jac The Disco moniker, delivers the first EP of his newly and co-founded label Spin On This'. 'Cosmic Matters', the title of the label's debut EP, comes with two original tracks, 'Cosmic Matters' and 'Bali Dance', as well as two remixes from two of the scene's most iconic producers, namely I:Cube and Prins Thomas. While French legend I:Cube took on remix duties for 'Bali Dance', Prins Thomas reworks the EP's title track. The Norwegian producer turns the orginal take into an eight minute lasting journey of blissful and mental sound-experiences paired with a lush bass line that's basically rolling out the red carpet for the varying synths and percussions to walk the path and transport the listener to a mental state of mind that hits closest to the imagination of reaching fulfillment in sound spheres and niches.
