 I ran into Valentin at HARD Day of The Dead, he was visiting LA and mentioned to me that he would be back in town for a while hanging. So we made some plans to mess around in the studio, no huge expectations or anything, but an opportunity to mess around with some beats! I think that our personalities and our curiosity for each others process made all of this a really natural feeling collaboration. We spent a lot of time working but we also ended up taking breaks here and there to show each other techniques, listen to music etc.. It really was a perfect example of the way I love to work on collaborative projects and am really proud of what we came up with for this!
This is off my remix album ALT CLASSIC that drops on Friday, May 13th.

Joshua Mellody, better known as the producer Zomboy is set to release his debut EP entitled Game Time through Never Say Die Records. Game Time is an electro-dub enthused rollercoaster of sounds meshed, chopped and screwed together set to leave you paralytic 1 minute, and euphoric the next. The EP intertwines between earth shattering bass with glitching breaks that come at you like Street Fighter character Ryus Hadouken! Drawing comparisons to the almighty Skrillex is inevitable but aside from a first instance conclusion to that fact, the deeper you go into this EP the more you realize that this an entirely new take on Dubstep testament to this producers vision and ear.

One year on from his seminal debut, the undead returns for his sophomore extended player.And what a year its been for 23-year-old Joshua Mellody. Having only made his first piece of electronic music six months prior to signing to Never Say Die, Zomboy has well and truly been thrown in at the deep end, and straight onto festival stages worldwide. Remixes for DJ Fresh, Skrillex, Flux Pavilion and Hadouken! have kept the hoards of fans (90,000 and counting) at bay, but the time has come for the follow up E.P of the year.The Dead Symphonic is a snapshot of a producer who is developing his palette at an alarming rate. No tempo is left uncovered as the EP twists and turns through hands-in-the-air drumstep, daft punkesque electro, orchestral interludes and of course, the sonically perfected dubstep for which he has become so well known for.

Zomboy came crashing head first into 2016 with the game changing single ‘Like A B*tch'. Taken from his hotly anticipated Neon Grave EP, the track became the go-to set opener for the likes of Skrillex, DJ Snake and almost every bass DJ at Ultra 2016.  

While the EP Crushed the charts, the 'Neon Grave' tour saw Zomboy sell out venues all over North America and has set the tone for an incredible 2016 for the producer.
 
Never one for slowing down, he's since remixed the Chainsmokers' huge crossover hit ‘Don’t Let Me Down’, and has embarked on his annual festival run, destroying crowds one by one with his inimitable energy and stage presence
