A kite is a tethered heavier-than-air craft with wing surfaces that react against the air to create lift and drag. A kite consists of wings, tethers and anchors. Kites often have a bridle and tail to guide the face of the kite so the wind can lift it. Kites is also the title of the premiere by Zurich Dada.
The track takes us back to the darkest depths of the retro future from Zurich Dada a Portuguese Synth Pop duo who take inspiration from quantum physics and the multiverse theory as much as they do from Depeche Mode or the Human League the track itself reinvented reworked and reconfigured by Anbau, the Catalan stalwart of Aspecto Humano.
In a kicking rewiring with a gorgeous vocal performance, tough drums, melodic analogue synths in a digital age. This is going to fly.

Following the rapturous reception of his first club-centric EP for Turbo, as well as remixes for Santigold and the forthcoming AlunaGeorge single, UK superproducer Duke Dumont returns to tighten his stranglehold on the worldwide nightgeist with FOR CLUB PLAY ONLY VOL. 2, this time training his sights on the Vocal Anthem heavyweight title.

A-side "No Money Blues" brings UK bass and deep house into the realm of crossover pop, while "The Giver" is an ecstatic vocal house anthem that would fit seamlessly alongside the most uplifting MURK classics. These are probably the two most "feel-good" tracks we will put out all year, but the impeccable level of quality actually lets you "feel good" about "feeling good."

This EP positions Dumont as the versatile international hitmaker we know him to be, establishing a globe-spanning Dukedom to unite us all.

‘Stop for Nothing’ sets the scene - stripped back techno sits beneath melodic trance elements, building up to an enigmatic peak and descending into a raw and upfront banger, swinging from barely there synths to kickin techno - this one is a real trip.
Next up, ‘Hit and Run’ is low-slung and mesmerising. Wiggling lines meet eerie overtones, soundtracking a late-night cruise turned mystical adventure. B-side ‘Shutdown’ is killer acid-lined cut - a slow burner that builds into vague memories of synth pop with an otherworldly, exotic twist. Rounding out the ep with a super slick, infectious 2-stepper,  ‘Plugged Outro’ is a straight-forward groovy cut that you’ll want to keep on loop.

Featuring deep, anxious pads and tight snares accompanied by well timed 'vroom' samples and acid synths, Monaco's intensity picks up as its progresses, until it peaks around the 5 minute mark, signalling the race has come to a conclusion.

Title track “Psychedelia” wastes no time letting you know what time it is - time you took a measurement of your heartbeat is it was time it is, ‘cause this tune raises the temperature like dropping that white dove you found inside the piggy bank in the bedroom at your parents place, right before a hardcore F45 workout. Nezt up, “Acid On Acid” does exactly what is advertised on the back of the box, and if you find yourself partial to a squiggly devilfish bassline, this one will fit neatly in your rave hole. Lastly, just when you thought you could get none more old school, EP closer “Break the Trip” hits you with the rave voltage. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself shuffling like an absolute madman to this one. Make no mistakes, this whole release clamps around your leg like lock-jaw. Rave.
