A New Way Of Living' is the culmination of Australian producer Griffin James' hard work and dedication to creating glorious sample-based electronica. Whether it be touches of disco or flurries of drum machines, James' sound is truly his own and his upcoming seven-tracker is a joy from start to finish.

To whet your appetite for the release we have the premiere of 'Ellingfort Road' and this one bounces and floats through its six-minute run time. Delicate cymbals and shuffles open the track up before a steady 4/4 and elegant strings get teased in. It's summery, uplifting and a perfect example of what FIO is all about.

According to his bio, Laurence was “raised by strippers in the dressing room of a Chicago lapdancing club with only a stack of Prince records for company.” While we can’t confirm that, the maker of punchy house music has certainly got our attention. Taken from his upcoming EP of the same name, i-D exclusively share Kojak. The smooth summertime jam eases you in with the gentlest of percussion, synth whirs and chimes, before drums and blissfully distorted bass holds your hand all the way to groove town. Press play.

@interstate98's first release on @waxtefacts was ‘Vanice Beach’, a funky roller that owes as much to disco as the club. He’s followed that up in perfect fashion with a solo EP for the label.

Kicking that EP off is ‘Karl-Löwe-St. Groove (ft. Biroll)’, a track that opens with melancholy piano before erupting in a blaze of searing disco samples packed to the rafters with funk and groove. It’s one for peak-time dancefloor destruction.
