Die Sonne ist gerade untergegangen und der abendliche Nebel legt sich über die Wälder, da erwacht das Festivalgelände zu seiner zweiten Reise des Tages. Alles sieht so anders aus als noch vor ein paar Stunden, die wie längst vergangene Zeiten scheinen. Über dem Horizont tanzen bereits die ersten Lichter der Bühnen eng umschlungen ihre lang ersehnten Reigen. Und da, horch, aus der ferne dringen bereits die ersten drückenden Bässe begleitet vom wilden Jauchzen der Menge zu unserem Zelt hinüber. 

So oder so ähnlich hätte alles kommen können, wäre uns da nicht so ein blöder Virus in die Quere gekommen. Doch unser geliebtes Zurück zu den Wurzeln Festival (https://soundcloud.com/zzdw) wäre nicht das was es ist, wenn es nicht auch dafür eine Lösung aus dem Hut gezaubert hätte. Umso mehr hat es mich gefreut, in diesem Jahr doch noch auf meinem ersten Festival spielen zu dürfen. Dafür bin ich der gesamten Organisation des Festivals und auch https://soundcloud.com/basskontakt, welche diese verwunschene Bühne auf die Beine gestellt haben, unendlich dankbar. Nur weil ich kein Publikum sichtbar vor mir hatte, heißt das nicht das ich weniger aufgeregt war in den Wochen vor und während des Auftritts. Daher hat es mich sehr gefreut im Chat zu sehen das nicht nur ein paar Beine zuhause im Wohnzimmer doch auf und ab gewippt sind.
Vielen vielen Dank an alle die dabei waren und diesen Abend zu so etwas besonderem gemacht haben. Ich freue mich euch alle im nächsten Jahr hoffentlich wieder live und in Farbe vor mir auf dem Mittelerdefloor zu sehen. Bleibt gesund und bis bald!

The sun has just set and the evening fog is covering the woods as the festival site awakes for its second trip of the day. Everything looks so different than a few hours ago, which seem like times long gone. Above the horizon the first lights of the stages are already dancing their long awaited round dance. And there, listen, from afar the first oppressive basses accompanied by the wild cheering of the crowd already reach our tent. 

Everything could have happened in one way or another, had it not been for some silly virus getting in our way. But our beloved Zurück zu den Wurzeln Festival (https://soundcloud.com/zzdw) wouldn't be what it is if it hadn't conjured a solution out of a hat. Therefore I was even more happy to play at my first festival this year. For this I am infinitely grateful to the whole organization of the festival and also https://soundcloud.com/basskontakt, who build up this enchanted stage. Just because I didn't have an audience visible in front of me doesn't mean that I was less excited in the weeks before and during the performance.So I was very happy to see in the chat that not only a few legs at home in the living room are bouncing up and down.
Thanks a lot to everyone who was there and made this evening so special. I am looking forward to seeing you all next year hopefully again on the Mittelerdefloor face to face. Stay healthy and see you soon!
