Each morning she woke to sirens, loud indistinct chatter and the low rumble of the buses that darted down the main road endlessly. Most would trade this in for the sounds of the birds, or simply silence, but not her: the bustle of the city was a comfort. Here she felt safe.

Les Yeux Orange are returning with the second instalment of their 'Driving Blind' compilation series; this time with a new batch of producers at the steering wheel. Widening the scope even further than the last, the release features 23 tracks from artists across the globe, including Anatolian Weapons, Binary Digit, Chino and Gamma Intel, who explore the far reaches of electronic music.

Гипнотизирующая гитара и мрачные синтезаторы на стыке призрачного пост-панка и шугейза, ритуальный ужас и эстетизация горя – инструментальный ремикс от Monowave это торжественный и поэтичный похоронный марш в лучших традициях жанра.

Танцевальный ремикс с ориентальными мотивами на грани New Beat и EBM представил продюсер и ди-джей ETANE, куратор вечеринок и подкастов INTERTRAX и участник синти-поп-дуэта Getsuga Tenshou.

Зловеще-фетишистский и сексуальный ремикс в стиле Dark Disco создал продюсер и ди-джей Disco Morato, основатель лейбла MAXIMA CULPA.

Завершает релиз бескомпромиссный пост-индастриал с жесткой электронной основой – брутальный EBM-techno микс от музыканта и продюсера Teo Larioni.

Sex & Drama (Disco Morato Remix)

After quite a long period of time, the hypnotic connection returns with an album from the head of the label, in which you will find exclusively live recordings from Muzikalist's laboratory, some of them were made together with his friends on different equipment. The guys constantly gathered during the last year, bringing their pieces of synths with them, smoked a little for inspiration, twisted the knobs of synthesizers and recorded all this from the master channel. It was decided to highlight some records and add them to the release. Well, here's the result, hope you like it.

Kri Records strike back with a cassette compilation under an
appropriate name: Trust the Rust! Rust dealers come from all over
the globe.

Nasty electro cuts are served by LA-based Ole Mic Odd who
has released on labels such as Zement, Italian producer and the
mighty Gravitational Waves owner DJ Nephil, British veteran
Chupacabras with seals of approval on L.I.E.S. among others, and
our Russian friend Larionov, who regularly puts out bangers for
Rotterdam Electronix. The Electro part of the compilation is
rounded by the local Ljubljana legend operating as a DJ and
Honest Work label owner, 198319831983.

EBM-ish march is saluted by Black Dot, the duo of Christian Kroupa
and Le Chocolat Noir, soon releasing music on Mechatronica and
responsible for our first release. Christian has also joined forces
with the Dallas and Science Cult native Aura Nox. NYC and wave EBM bangers are represented by R Gamble, Spinal is an up-and-coming producer from Chile having released a great EP on Pildoras Tapes, while Bianco Negativo is an Italian duo behind one of our fav
labels, Marguerite Records.

DISCOS ATÓNICOS proudly presents the label’s second release: Age of Aggression by BS-1. This new record was produced by Dutch veteran Roland van Oorschot aka BS–1. Growing up, he listened to bands like Slayer, Fear Factory and Anthrax, which formed his musical education and continues to impact his productions. Producing and experimenting since the mid 1990s, van Oorschot has been a long time fixture in the electronic music world. He has created many projects over the years including Funxiun, Utroid and the previously mentioned BS-1. You can find his unique tracks on various labels including Marguerita Recordings and Gooiland Elektro.
For Discos Atónicos he made the Age Of Aggression EP, featuring 5 massive electro cuts that are a straight shot to the dance floor.

He was a man who did not see life with his own eyes, but comprehended it only through books and was doubly dangerous in that he convinced himself of his sincerity. He unfeignedly took his lust for exalted feelings, weakness - for the inconstancy of artistic nature, laziness - for philosophical calmness. His mind, vulgar in its attempts at refinement, perceived everything in a slightly exaggerated form, vaguely, through the gilded fog of sentimentality. He lied, not knowing that he was lying, and when others reproached him for this, he said that lies are beautiful. In short, he was an idealist.

After he featured on Various # 2, the Russian artist Yssue is back on KUMP with three, slightly incantational, Industrial/Tribalistic tracks. In this EP, Dmitry Nekrotkov explores Nature and expresses his vision of the bonds which Mankind shares with It.
What's more? Two remixes. Ayaz, an artist from Azerbaïdjan and founder of the Yalançi label, delivered a Dub-Techno remix which will turn your brain upside down before chopping it in tiny bits.
The second remix was made by the Duo DJ PG, from Lauzanne (Switzerland). The two pals, both members of the group "La Sacrée Déter" revisited the track "Lust" adding a Psyche-dubik touch to it. Perfect for a matinee on your sofa.
"My music is often a reflection of the state in which I am at a certain period of my life, since I grew up from a musical punk scene, this often involves a certain set of means of expression. In essence, I am in an endless struggle to express some quite lively and human emotions through the cold and artificial world of electronic sounds. That is why there is a lot of melody and sometimes even drama in my music, and this is why I'm often got bored with a static music.
This EP is called "Naturalist", a terms that defines a person who has devoted his life to the study of nature and its kingdoms. This directly relates to my strong belief that the further society advances, the more people are losing touch with nature, something that is real and to which they all belong." - Dmitry Nekrotkov.

Zone welcomes CT Kidobó to the label this February, as he prepares to release the first instalment of
‘Impulse & Inhibition’.
Budapest-based DJ and producer CT Kidobó has been experimenting with electronic music for the last
decade, releasing early material on Molecule’s Mille Feuilles imprint under his Das Model moniker and
gaining support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Jimmy Edgar and Arnaud Rebotini. The last few years
have seen his CT Kidobo project appear on the likes of Earth Plates and Dalmata Daniel with an obviously
growing appetite for his uniquely evocative productions. As a DJ his reputation is ever expanding and in his
native Hungary he has shared the stage with the like of Kevin Saunderson, Cardopusher, Textasy and
Gnork.
Now CT Kidobo joins forces with the ever-excellent Zone label from Paris for a four track Ep orientated
around a laidback, daytime sound, with plans for a darker, ‘sounds of the night’ chapter planned for the
months ahead. The electrifying opener ‘Bipolar’ is a deep and alluring affair, fueled by bright synth lines,
warm bass sequences and enchanting vocals, which all come together for this uplifting gem. Next up, ‘Death
of Postmodernism’ lowers the tempo and pairs distorted frequencies with sparkling effects and hypnotic
percussion. ‘Paris’ unveils a nostalgic driven slice of electronic music, as we see CT Kidobó work euphoric
chords against brooding electro rhythms and blissful sonics. To close, the cutting edge ‘Vertigo’ is an
infectious and exhilarating cut which showcases yet another side to his diverse and extensive sound.
CT Kidobo’s ‘Impulse & Inhibitions - Part 1’ drops on Zone on 18th February.
