The next release on Black Seven Music comes courtesy of Swiss talent Boy.An, featuring a remix from rising Argentinian artist Tomas Bisquierra - What It Do EP.

Boy.An was born and raised in Zurich, Switzerland. His artist name is an adaptation of his real name, Bojan - which comes from Eastern Europe (Serbia). His latest body of work comes as a two-track EP, accompanied by a remix from upcoming South American talent Tomas Bisquierra.

What It Do opens the release with loose grooves and pleasantly nonchalant energy. Swinging drums and arpeggiated synths add a level of rambunctious energy to its punchy foundation and melds perfectly in places with its catchy vocal hook. A potent hip-shaker for peak time sets!

Tomas Bisquierra follows with a raucously upbeat re-do of the title track. Boasting a high-energy tech house persona from the outset, its furiously attention-grabbing presence makes for the perfect weapon of choice to unload on packed dancefloors.

Boy.An closes the EP with Stay, a progressively melodic terrace tech style track. Hypnotically soulful at its crux, it champions the true essence of a club-ready vibe-builder - endlessly layering rich frequencies, gliding percussive loops and driving drum work alongside a rising vocal that readies you perfectly for its many throwdowns.

Copasetic puts his foot on the gas with 'Dat's Right', churning out a pacy hard-hitting jam for peak time sets. Driving drums and a rhythmic sub push you into a frenzied bed of percussive flair, brought together with catchy vocal hooks and atmospheric transitions.

Next up on Unnamed & Unknown, rising Spanish talent Oravla Ziur delivers a diverse 6-track EP, including a killer remix from DJ Entwan - Gucci Boy.

'Gucci Boy' opens the release with a flurry of weighty drums and fizzing percs, complemented by a groovy sub-bass and subtle melodics. It's gangsta vocal hooky and supplementary soulful licks add extra character to this rolling terrace bomb. The track also comes with a dub cut, minus the vocal for a more stripped back feel.

Next up, the largely popular DJ Entwan provides his spin on 'Gucci Boy'. Slapping his distinguishable signature on the remix, it features a softer touch with more focus on creative fills, building melodies and stirring energy throughout.

'Blazzer' comes next, with high energy percussive flair from the offset. Rippling layers of rhythmic instruments slice through a combo of punchy drums and a weighty sub-bass. The track's balance of light and dark melodic components make for an interesting journey as it rolls through different moods.

'Gross Bark' slows the tempo a little with a tougher approach and more swing. Another track with limitless layers of movement - brought together by crisp drum work, pulsating bass and light melodies. Adding even more character to the track are an endless supply of quirky samples and vox.

Completing the release, 'Spark The Sex' cranks the tempo back up and heads deep into the realm of peak-time terrace rollers. An energetic bed of drum work and more blistering percussive showmanship make the perfect match for its groove-driven bassline, offbeat fills and vocal chops.

The release of this particular EP resonates with us as we consider Oreason as part of our Sacre Coeur Records collectif. We have been actively spectators of their musical shifts, that have occurred through the artistic work process that this Parisian duo of best friends have undertaken.

Their passion and euphoria transcends in their sounds, groovy tech-house rythms accompanied by melodic aerial nuances with a wish to continuously enlightened the warmth and boldness of the 90's deep house bases.

The two tracks that they present to us today is an illustration of their sonic DNA, while showing great musical agility and sensibility to imprint the stylistic and technical sound speciﬁcities of our label.

Nevertheless, Juanito, a French dj and producer based in Barcelona, has crafted for this duo a brilliant reinterpretation of Oreason's « Wide Open », injecting funk and ﬁlth for your acoustic pleasure. May the electrifying grooves of this track bring you a sense of dreamy escapism!
