Stylistically most inspired by the unquantized synthetic sound of 90s-2000s Mannheim Steamroller, as well as with some nods to Yack, Basiscape, and the Panzer Dragoon series.

We're excited to share our love for musicians who inspire us, just as we did with Axis Pillar. A tribute to Wataru Ishibashi's style, but also soundtracks like Klonoa, Fantastep and Dewprism. This music is very close to our hearts. When approached with the idea of a Gurumin album, we BOTH immediately thought "we should do The Phantom World"

In post-apocalyptic 2990, two preserved biological entities emerge from the long-abandoned ROLAND D50 Biological Research Station, 1000 years after their preservation.

One, a revived fossil of Microraptor zhaoianus (aka Cryptovolans) and another, a mysterious chimera creature comprised of parts of many different animals (Chimeratio).
