CamelPhat and Elderbrook’s modern Defected classic ‘Cola’ is remixed by powerhouse Ukrainian duo ARTBAT. Early support from the likes of Solomun initially led to ARTBAT being recognised as ‘Artist of the Year’ by The DJ Awards and Mixmag’s ‘Stars of the Year’ in 2019, and since then the producer duo have become certified giants of the scene. From recent originals with Vintage Culture, Benny Benassi and Armand van Buuren, to remixes for artists like Empire Of The Sun, The Chemical Brothers and MEDUZA, ARTBAT’s arena filling house and techno rollers have made them one of Ukraine’s most notable electronic artists of the decade. The pair now take on the definitive Defected staple from 2017, CamelPhat and Elderbrook’s ‘Cola’. After changing the sound of clubbing here in the UK, the OG soared to the top of dance charts worldwide before receiving a nomination for Best Dance Recording at the 2018 GRAMMY Awards. The wickedly subversive record remains a favourite of dance music lovers today, with ARTBAT now adding their signature, main stage energy to ‘Cola’ in style; Elderbrook’s iconic vocal line remains at the fore, underpinned by expertly produced sections of build and release to set dancefloors and festivals alight for summer 2025 and beyond.
