Khan Khentii is my contribution to the Trans-Siberian Express album for the Legacy of Thought label.  Each artist wrote a track for stops on the Trans-Siberian railway in (mostly) Russia.  I've been wanting to use Mongolian throat singing in my music for awhile now, and this was the perfect opportunity to try it out!  I've also been thinking about more experimentation with different time signatures.  This is the first track I've written in 6/8 time in the BlauDisS project.  You may also notice that many of the percussion sounds are from trains (wheels rolling, steam) to fit the album theme.  I'm really happy to be included in such a cool concept album - I highly recommend checking out the full project, linked below!

Hey everyone,

This is the first tune I have made in a while... I checked into an inpatient treatment center for addiction and mental health issues.

 I have been going through outpatient therapy now and have a month of sobriety under my belt. 

I missed music, and missed having the motivation and desire to create. Now that I am finding it again in recovery, this will be the first track (of many)in my post rehab life. Therefore, "A New Beginning" a new start, and a clean slate.
