PSYDEWISE is In Focus with us this time with a live set focusing on his latest projects, a much more refined production, as he says, compared to his earlier material. Born in Cape Town, South Africa during the late 80s, Psydewise was fortunate enough to grow up with a wide selection of alternative music introduced to him by his weird and wonderful parents. He was introduced to psychedelic trance by his aunt, who used to make mini discs with all the latest vinyl at the time, like Infinity Project, Hallucinogen, GMS, Infected Mushroom, Grapes of Wrath, Cosma, Atomic Pulse, Antix and Artefact were just a few that really rewired and inspired him! After moving to the UK and meeting people who were using Ableton Live, was the first time he used the program and was hooked. He taught himself most of what he knows today but it would never have been possible without the incredible collective knowledge of out beautiful psychedelic trance community!

KALI YUGA is Dani Sisnandes — a Brazilian music producer, DJ, and Brazil’s ambassador for the Australian label Universal Tribe Records. She channels a bold, organic sound deeply rooted in the underground. Her signature is the unexpected: swampy grooves, irreverent fusions between Bush Prog and Zenonesque, and soundscapes that evoke the sacred. Her sets defy formulas — they are rituals of reconnection. In Focus this time is TRABANT. In his own words: "Representing 2to6 Records, my musical journey was born in the nightclubs, forests, caves, and stone pits of the Swiss underground psy scene. This set ranges from spooky forest psy situations into a more spaceship type of deal, always with loads of weird sounds and strange atmospheres. It contains tracks that are released on my debut album and various compilations, tracks that will be released soon, as well as tracks that will probably stay locked in the depths of my hard drive for eternity." Trabant starded DJing and organizing parties in 2012, as well as his own production in 2017. When a certain virus started to go wild in 2020, he decided to take his tunes to the next level. Luckily, he was able to set up 1on1 online tutoring sessions with Electrypnose, who helped him release his album on 2to6 records in 2023. Since then, he has been trying to build some connections and has released 1 track on Excessus Records and 2 on Woo-Dog Recordings.

Fungophago is a german particle physicist. His musical career started with punk and heavy metal but he developed relatively fast a taste for drum and bass and psychedelic bass music. A friend from the black metal scene introduced him into the abstract idea of atmosphere and concept music which still has a heavy influence on his approach to making music. Music is the art of hypnotising the listener and telling a story. This is what Fungophago does.
