Ethereal Healer

Michał Niecikowski aka Red Sun Rising from Szczecin, Poland is about to release "Campfire", his first downtempo/chillgressive album on Altar Records the 1st of May 2018! 

Michał has an artistic soul, therefore in 2012 he was naturally inspired to make his first release "The Bird with the wounded Wing" album released in Mistique Emotion – sublabel of the well-known progressive Mistiquemusic label. In the same year, he also made his first progressive house debut track "Behind", released in Mistiquemusic as well. He also had collaborated with d'Este to make a deep and touching melancholic electronic project in the year 2013. 

Finally, with a combination of sensual female vocal, space electronics and Slavic folk music elements, he defines his own downtempo music style by releasing “Four Different Walks EP” in Polish psytrance label, Mamomam Records. 

Now he took his music on the next level with crafting downtempo psychedelic tracks with his pals Anna (vocalist) and Eyal (Mobitex).

Red Sun Rising - Moontrap (feat. Anna Klebus)

A project unlike any other comes to Desert Trax this fall. Between 2009 and 2012, psychedelic bass producer Twin Shape created but left unfinished three songs that tied him inextricably to a certain time and place. As the years went on, these pieces remained rough and untouched, until he sought the help of three fellow producers to help him complete these songs.

The result is the Auxiliatus EP. From the Latin “to support,” Alterra, Shwamp, and COAM stepped in to give Twin Shape distance, perspective, and help to revisit these original creations and give them a contemporary feel on “Seeded,” “D&N,” and “Glimpse,” respectively. Three tightly wound compositions that have spanned nearly a decade since their inception now come to life with throbbing low end and alien implications. A strong recommendation for fans of Bird of Prey, Phutureprimitive, and Ott.

Standout Desert Trax contributor Key-G steps in for a remix of the Alterra collab, “Seeded,” to round out this 4-track set. The Auxiliatus EP is finally available September 13th.

After 3 years, a global pandemic and endless hours of playing,
exploring and exploding in the studio, I am so happy and excited to announce that Gumi’s full debut album “Underwater” will be released Jan 25th on Desert Trax.

From the warm waters of the Mediterranean, to the perfect Australian swells, water has always been my home, my refuge, my very core.
“Underwater” is an emotional collection of the deep feelings and
journeys I’ve been blessed to experience by the vast ocean.
"Underwater" presents nine original tracks, three of which are
collaborations with Kaya Project, Symbolico and Soru, Thanks guys for your contribution to my story.
