yayyyyy mix #24! first one of the year. let's hope it's not like last year when I only uploaded one mix hehe. i'll try and upload at least one more this year :D also, can you believe it's been 5 years since I started mixing? yeah me neither. time sure flies.

so the inspiration for this mix is purely from the goat, lane 8. last decemeber i went to his concert in london, and truly it was the best 2 hours 45 minutes of my life. i never had so much fun before. the songs are euphoric and the whole night i was carrying some main character energy and dancing the night away. not a single moment was i not dancing, except for water breaks, but that is only because i need to stay hydrated just so i can dance even more. even after the show, i'm still so energetic and jittery and night after night, i was still thinking what an awesome time i had. fast forward to the end of the year and bam! lane 8 2022 winter mix. what a freaking fire mix it was. highly recommend everyone to check it out. since then, i wanted to try and mix a lane 8, this never happened style mix. 

i always avoided mixing a pure progressive/melodic house. i love them, they are what got me into electronic music, but i don't mix them because long transitions don't really suit my tranquility style. i like to fit in a lot of songs quickly, and seamlessly while making a statement. i always try to transition them in a way that it will give you that christian bale stink face in american psycho (see meme below). comes when you least expected it and hype you up for more. it's just more fun for me.

but i am so proud of how this mix turned out. i managed to fit in so many bangers that i've listened to over the years, while still maintaining my #tranquility theme of 3 chapters of progression. each transition has some details that i just can't get enough of. listening to this mix has been such a cathartic experience for me and i hope you will enjoy this mix the way i did!

be warned, this is an energetic mix that mimics a live show. this is the if-i-ever-have-a-show-i-would-play-this mix. expect chills and high heart rate ;)

Colorcast Radio 200: Modera live from the Gulf of Mexico

In celebration of the global event that is Earth Day, all three Anjuna labels have each curated a planet-inspired mix, which will go live on Apple Music, YouTube and Soundcloud on Earth Day.
As well as inviting label fans to take a moment of pause and enjoy some music, these products are extra-special as artists and Anjuna will be donating royalties from these mixes to the Ocean Conservation Trust, in perpetuity. 

Anjunadeep’s Earth Day mix is a two-hour journey through uplifting organic and melodic house. Featuring music from the likes of Eli & Fur, Marsh, Luttrell and Leaving Laurel, all inspired by, and frequently sampling sounds from the natural world.
