Vactrol Park, the collaborative endeavor between Kyle Martin (Land of Light) and Guido Zen (Brain Machine), returns to the ESP Institute with 'II', rounding out the second half of their EP series. For this installment, a sojourn was made to Stockholm to record at the computer music mecca, EMS (Elektron Musik Studion), where the artists had the opportunity to experiment extensively with the legendary Buchla 200 Modular and Serge Modular, two of the rarest and most pornographic modular synthesizers in existence. While both instruments originate from California (Buchla in Berkeley as a commission from pioneer Morton Subotnik, and Serge at the California Institute of the Arts), the music Vactrol Park draws from these machines is far from warm and sunny. Akin to their predecessors on the 2015 debut 'I', these works materialize a level of taste and measure of craft that’s unattainable by most, each retaining an individual cinematic approach yet working collectively toward one consummate goal—paralysis.

Né dans la banlieue sud de Paris, Zulu 55 commence d’abord à s’intéresser à la peinture dans les rues de Paris et son métro. C’est par le biais du graffiti que Zulu 55 entre d’abord en contact avec la scène rave alternative où il commence à élaborer son langage musical.

Après avoir organisé ses premières soirées, Zulu 55 s’installe à Berlin en 2012 où il continue à développer sa passion pour le « digging ». Amoureux du vinyle, il partage sa connaissance de la musique en travaillant au Record Loft à Berlin. 
Zulu 55 a commencé à jouer dans les clubs en 2014. Mélangeant les genres et les styles, ses sets offrent une sélection dynamique où la house, le disco, la new beat, la techno et l’italo sont mixés créant une expérience puissante et cohérente sur les dancefloors.

Les sets éclectiques de Zulu 55 représentent ses voyages autour du globe et son approche multi-culturelle, jouant dans des festivals en Grèce ou au Sénégal, il est toujours à la recherche du vinyle inédit…
