An Icaro is a healing song channeled by a shaman during a ritual. 
It is a real "sonic medicine" that the shaman uses to treat his patients or to convey and support the introspective journey with the other Medicines of the Forest.

During healing rituals, "Icaro Felice" has the function of alleviating the introspective and complicated processes, and of bringing the Tribe back on the right track, through simple words that act like a tuning fork, resonating with vibrations of light and therefore of happiness.

It is a genuine panacea for every moment of imbalance in the long and tortuous ritual of life.

This hymn is dedicated to Yemanjà, the Queen of Sea Waters, or Goddess of the Sea.

Before receiving this piece, I didn't know much about her. That night, I wrote it straight away - the words came out with an automatism that surprised me. I had no intention of writing a hymn to Yemanjà. I realized that the hymn was dedicated to her only when the hands, out of control, changed position on the guitar and the name of Yemanjà came out of my mouth, and then became the refrain. The words just arrived, reaching me from a collective unconscious into which I had somehow tapped. And while composing, I was amazed and curious to find out what I would create. Thus this hymn was born. Later I peeked on the Internet to learn more about this entity and understood everything: the moon, the mirror, the melodies of love, the wave of the sea…

In some African-American traditions, there is the cult of certain spirits or demigods called Orixàs (or Orishàs). Each Orixà has a well-defined personality, and his/her own elements, colors, activities, foods, habits and powers. Often, the Orixàs are syncretized with the Christian Saints.

Yemanjà is the mother of all the Orixàs and her element is water. It carries the feminine energy of creation, of the Great Primordial Mother, the source of life. The sea is her habitat, of which she is the protector. Yemanjà represents the gentle rocking of the waves and the ebb and flow of the tides. That is why it is also associated with the Moon. But his anger manifests itself in terrible sea storms. At the same time she is the protector of shipwrecked and sailors.

In Brazilian mythology, Yemanjà is depicted as a beautiful mermaid. She carries a mirror, representing the sea that reflects the Light of the Great Divine Father. Sweet melodies of love resound around her. She is syncretized with the Virgin Mary.

Written by my great friend Maci, "Io sono" is the only cover of the album Icaro Felice. 

From the first Time I heard it played by Maci, I fell in love with it and immediately made an arrangement for guitar, drum and two voices.

The lyrics in Italian go straight to the heart with no uncertain terms. They invoke the power of the Sun that exists within each one of us and makes us the masterpiece that we are. When we manage to reconnect to that strength, it can give us enormous care and love for ourselves and for those around us.

The last verse of song repeats the Mayan greeting "In Lak’ech", which means: "I am another you" or "I am you, you are me". If I harm you, I harm myself - if I respect you, I respect myself.

I invite you to sing this song inside yourself as a morning “mantra”, or in all those situations where you need the strength to believe in yourself.

“Icaro of the Elemnts” is an Icaro in its purest and most ancestral form, the one in which the shaman, with an instrument made of leaves called Wayra or Chacapa, improvises a healing song during his rituals.
This Icaro, written and performed by Tati with the support of the sounds of nature audible from our home, is dedicated to the elements, invoking their spirit and the teachings that each of them can give us.
It brings joy and lightness. You can sing it every time you are dealing with an element: while you wash yourself with water, while you cook or warm yourself with the fire, while you let yourself be lulled by the wind, while walking in a forest. You will thus be present with the element.

ITA: un vero e proprio Icaro nella sua forma più pura e ancestrale, quella in cui lo sciamano, con uno strumento foglie, chiamato Wayra o Chacapa, improvvisa un canto di cura durante i rituali. 
Questo Icaro, scritto ed eseguito da Tati con il sostegno dei suoni della natura udibili dalla nostra abitazione, è dedicato agli elementi. 
Invoca lo spirito e gli insegnamenti che ognuno di loro può darci. ☀️ With immense pleasure and gratitude I share a song that I am strongly fond of, written by my friend Phill who left us some months ago.

Phill, a truly special soul of Philippine origins, once he entered the shamanic path, began to write songs using a "personalized" but surprisingly functional idiom.

His texts are therefore not grammatically correct, he asked us to fix them, but apart from a few adjustments we preferred to leave them as they were received by him, original.

Before leaving us Phill sent us his songs, and now that he is no longer here, we remain the custodians of these... what an honor, what immense value! 🍀

The ICARO is a healing song channeled by the shaman during the rituals.

It is a real "sonic medicine" that the shaman uses to treat his patients or to convey and support the introspective journey with the other Medicines of the Forest.
