ZUNDOKO DISCO (BOW & SISINOBU)

ZUNDOKO DISCO is a DJ duo and organizing team consisting of BOW and SISINOBU. They have been organizing parties in Tohoku (north-east Japan) for 10 years and are now based in Tokyo. What started out as a simple techno B2B session has evolved into a style that is not only techno groovy, but also highly compatible with abstract hip-hop and drum’n’bass, as they incorporate music from various eras and genres. Their dope grey area sets are performed on weekend dance floors around Tokyo and in some DJ mixes on the Internet.

ZUNDOKO DISCOはBOWとSISINOBUからなるDJデュオ兼オーガナイズチームである。彼らは日本の東北地方での10年にわたるパーティーオーガナイズを経て、現在は東京を拠点として活動している。当初はシンプルなテクノサウンドからスタートしたB2Bセッションが、様々な年代やジャンルの音楽を取り込む過程で、テクノグルーヴのみならずアブストラクトヒップホップやドラムンベースとも親和性が高いスタイルへと変遷していった。そのドープなグレイエリアセットは東京を中心とした週末のダンスフロアやインターネット上のDJ MIXで披露されている。
