Pollen. Sounds presents: PLNS001: Gloom 1.0, a 5 track EP by Max Cue. 
Though still relying heavily on the style we came to know from Max Cue, Gloom also borrows from classical influences to create contemplative and sorrowful intro's and bridges that lead to nervous, anxious and repetitive sequencer driven parts. 
Gloom feels reminiscent of falling into despair, of entering dark, murky and overgrown territory. Gloom is still easily recognized as Max Cue, though it also manages to sidetrack its listeners. A gloomy welcome to what might be a harbinger for more.

After a break Melodic Tales is back to delight your ears with the most outstanding DJs and producers of Melodic Techno worldwide and to restart the sound activities we have the twenty-fifth episode by the label head Di Rugerio which is currently based in the Mexican Caribbean and where he has been presented in different clubs and places in the world hot spot that is now Tulum. This mix was recorded at an after-party in the jungle of Tulum where Di Rugerio includes promo music from different record labels and as well as new music that will be released soon by Uxoa Dutxa Elite by artists such as Visionary State, Keistep, Blanka Barbara & Julien Vertigo. . One of the many benefits to Rabbit Records' carefully curated release schedule is the exposure it allows to emerging artists alongside the more established names in the scene. Here, Ezequiel Iensen, aka EZEK, drops his first EP for Blanka Barbara's label, following on from a multitude of releases on various melodic-techno-centered labels, tastemakers of the underground scene. Dimension EP showcases the Brazilian DJ and producer's talent for uncompromisingly melodic dancefloor-primed techno. "Elements" kicks off with a delicate groove welded to a miry bass synth and a sensual ambient choir line wrapping the listener in its epicurean embrace. Title track "Dimension" has a similar serene energy, but the almost ambient groove has a particular coolness to the atmosphere that yearns for enchanted open-air festival crowds.

Two more tracks, the incredibly tasteful and energetic remixes, complement the originals immensely. Created by the established names of the scene, Messier and WO-CORE, the featured remixes elevate the release to a new level adding an imaginative kind of euphoric malevolence through tightly controlled tension and its eventual release. Messier's approach to delivering the finest in pulsating, dancefloor-rocking melodic techno continues with his inspired take on "Elements" - the remix bubbles with menace and attitude; the added industrial vocal phrases spiral into moments of barely restrained euphoria. WO-CORE - the duo of two Spanish producers - maintain the quality with their cut "Dimension" - a visionary euphonious techno outing with a narcotic, impassioned edge.

Kiman opens proceedings with the self titled EP 'Cassiopeia' - A track that starts with a warm glow building to an ethereal theme. Accompanied by beautiful vocals & infectious chords, the laidback drums and smooth breakdown, Kiman's cool downtempo vibes works its magic
'Reversable' - the 2nd original track from the Italian, utilizes a deep groove as the foundation, underpinned by smooth synth chords that gradually ease their way to the summit. Unified by a deep kick drum and dusky atmospheric emotion, the composition climaxes by adding recurrent percussive elements and soft soaked melodies that come together to create a structured sphere of sonic satisfaction.

On Remix duties we welcome Minorah - a clinical young talent to emerge in the scene of late, he has enjoyed steady releases on Labo T & Sinners. His 'rework' of Cassiopeia is a musical journey, unified by a warm kick drum and atmospheric emotion, the track is a concoction of warm, deep bass and grooves, swirling pads, textured layers and stunning effects.
