This song is one of the first projects I feel like I truly created as an artist, with no preconceived notions about what it "should" sound like or what I want it to be. You never know where life will take you. I've been about as low as a person can get, but music has always been there to help guide me to my better self. I grew up loving and learning music, and years of soul searching for my purpose always led back to music no matter how much I wanted to fight it. Oddly enough, one of the worse occurrences in modern history, COVID-19, gave me the time I so desperately needed to finally be able to pick up a computer and chase my dream. I have never released a song, nor have I even finished one yet for that matter. However, I've been more dedicated to this than any other thing in my life, and when I saw this contest, I knew I was ready enough to at least try. I decided to pursue this on the night of the Harvest Moon, hence the name. Thank you so much Cymatics for the opportunity to be apart of this, and I hope you enjoy the first harvesting of the fruits of my labor.
