Realm of Shadows, on the other hand, is a track with a lot of dance floor essence, a track made to let your feet move on their own, close your hands and let the techno invade your body.

The hybrid point between the digital sound design and the analog gear and equipment that characterizes the Madrid based guys, makes us continue enjoying their sound and their very personal brand.

Following the albums "Lessons In Dub" (2012) and "Kontrollverlust" (2017) Leipzig based DJ and producer Marc DePulse now presents his 3rd artist album: Together Alone

The album title reflects the global sentiments surrounding the last two years while being confined indoors. It plays with the opposites of togetherness and aloneness. Being socially distanced during lockdown at home while all together stuck in the same situation individual aloneness was experienced as a collectively felt togetherness.

Therefore the idea behind Together Alone was engaging highly respected artists and friends from all over the planet for a collaborative project which Marc DePulse describes as "a colored box full of high-quality standards and with a lot of great stories inside".

Woven between the intro "Allein" (eng. alone) and the outro "Zusammen" (eng. together) the album captures stories of collectively felt emotions elicited by the pandemic.

The 13 tracks by 12 different artists highlight that despite all hardships we are never alone. This phenomena is represented by track 8 called ZIMWA, derived from the German sentence "Zusammen ist man weniger allein" (eng. Together you are less alone).

For the collaborative LP the artists got virtually together into the studio with Marc DePulse, exchanging stems, sharing parts, making video calls, chatting – simply doing things that were possible during the lockdown period.

Together Alone contains music from club to Easy Listening, from EBM to Breaks, from Pop to Tech – music to remember and heartfelt messages that will not be forgotten so fast.

We're all in this together. Not alone.

It all starts with a driven vintage flavored arp and stylized vocals. Fueled by wavy and moogy sounds and beats, this track emulates a vibe like straight out of a cult TV series. In the first break some absolute beautiful e guitar notes hitting your Tympanic Membrane, followed by Jordans unique vocals.

Then: Hannes ́s Bieger Remix of „Waiting" hits! Analog, shaky synths meet the perfection of groove and beats! We have now entered another world full of mysteries and ancient energies.

'N1NJA celebrates her first release, with a single on Global Entry 4 by the prestigious imprint, Sol Selectas.

The song ‘Sunrise of Agra’ weaves precious Indian elements with modern minimal influences. As the beat begins, meditative sounds of an indigenous flute fill the sonic air, capturing the magic and mysticism of Agra. 

The flute is played by Zayn Mohammed, an award-winning sacred instrumentalist, and graduate of Berklee College of Music.

Rhythmic tribal percussion intertwines into groovy ethereal tones of deep tech, connecting the track to the eternal power of nature as listeners transport their minds and bodies to a different time and place, where a sacred sunrise in Agra is an experience that connects us to the nomadic energies of the universe.

After 7 years of mastering her craft while being mentored by Atish, Francesco Mami, and Subb-an into the art of production, Sunrise of Agra is N1NJA’s first public release on the prestigious imprint, Sol Selectas.

BRAIDS are one of my favourite bands, so when I had the chance to work with them I jumped on it. The vocals were the starting point, which I layered and used to generate a general feeling also in fitting with the lyrics, which then defined how I built the rest of the tracks around them. The first one from the EP is "Pleasures", for which I wanted to make something positive and warming, with nice straightforward drums and nothing too harsh in terms of builds and drops, just a delicate flow to give a pleasurable listening experience, hopefully!

Fischer and Kleber have most definitely been thinking outside the box for their latest EP on SOUVENIRPLUS.

Over four tracks the German duo demonstrate their range and skill in creating taut and effective melodies. They kick things off with a gentle, tinkling beat that reminiscent of early midi accompaniments, over which euphoric piano keys lift the tone to new heights. The bassline hisses along until hurtling headfirst into a powerful, pleading baritone that positively urges ones hands further into the air.  Next up things get tribal, the banging of the drums accompany some synth stabs which ratchets up the tension, as some guttural voices chant along. A Twilight Zone-like eerie synth announces the massive drop, as the bassline hits like a speeding locomotive.

‘Wonderful Life’ is quite the change of pace, baroque chamber strings clash with a slow insistent beat and a distended male cabaret voice as the cherry on top of this weirding cake. A most effective mood piece and most definitely the first time we’ve had a viola di gamba on a Souvenir release! Will cause some consternation to the confused at many an after hours. The closer is something more approaching the traditional driving F&K dancefloor sound, a lethal tool of pure grinding rhythm, textures provided by small synth details and a repeating vocal quack. Somehow the combination of the plucked string sounds, and some chopped early music snippets lift the mood, turning a seemingly dark beat into an unexpectedly soaring track.
