MoM’s sonic quest is elegant, deep and anything but indifferent, but a hallmark of continuous discovery and good taste – perfect to celebrate and bring the whole crowd on an amazing ride through vibrations. The profound and exquisite ethnic elements acquires great importance on his DJ set and live set. In his pursuit of bridging music, technology and culture, he creates the band “Mosáfires”, formed by three musicians, where they fuse electronics with “Sephardic music”. Currently, he is one of the most outstanding Spanish artists internationally. He has published in Crosstown Rebels, Rebellion, DeNature, Underyourskin, Bar25, Still vor Talent, LDKHN, Cosmic Awakenings among others and he has collaborated with artists such as: Acid Pauli, Holed Coin, Alvaro Suarez or ANüT.

Wow, Camel Burn was an amazing experience. Such amazing people and vibes. Playing there was more then amazing, I felt connected to the crowds frequency and it was bliss. The next day rain started even though it was warm.  There was an alligator lake near by and the place felt like we were in a tropical forest. Because of the rain the music stopped Saturday morning and DJ's did not show up.  My friend suggested I go play another set to wake up the event, and thats how my second set was born. it was surprising and so much fun. I hope you can feel the vibe we were in through the music.

Having already gained support from the likes of Dixon, Ame and Red Axes, Scatcity Records' latest offering from Ivory is already on the way to cause a serious stir this summer. 
Opening up with the title track, 'Mindfulness', Ivory lays down a crunchy synth roller, overlapped against a range of warm and bright melodic chord sequences, before throwing you back into a deep groove.
Moving on to 'Quiet In Her Shadow', elusive synth line Minimalistic percussive elements, progressive with teasing chordal changes and ever developing reverb echoes.
On the flipside, 'Everything Is Illuminated' is a force to be reckoned with, as deep and eerie drone synth bounce up the menacing chugs of drum and bass line.
Floyd Lavine steps up to close the EP, with his take on Mindfulness; rounding off with a calmer experience, as enriched saw synths ease you off into the sunrise, rounding off another spectacular release from the Scatcity crew.

PREMIERE : Ivory - Everything is illuminated (Original Mix)[Scatcity]

For most artists 2018 seemed a year for retrospection. Skee Mask opens my year mix with a track that could have been made by LTJ Bukem in 1996, followed by Pavel Milyakov who’s Main Loop track seems like an outtake of a mid 90’s German trance record. There’s also disco house by Dj Koze and Detroit Swindle, Italo dance by Krystal Clear and 90’s rave techno by Flug.
And even though I found 2018 quite a difficult year for finding big tracks, there was plenty of beautiful music, some of which ended up on my Year Mix.
I also feel dance music in 2018 has been more atmospheric than ever, which created beautiful moments on the dance floor, sometimes epic and sometimes more intimate.
With my Spectrum events I’ve been able to play much of this music in my extended sets, and I think this Year Mix reflects that.
As always I’ve really enjoyed wrapping up the year musically, and I’ve listed back to the mix 10 times already, I hope you will too.
