The vintage nostalgia runs high in these entries, not that I'm complaining! Going for a 8-bit dance style on this track was on point, great work

A well crafted little chip-tune song.  Fun.  One thing I would say is the main lead melody is always on the beat.  Might have been interesting to have some syncopation here and there.

When chords and BDR play together, why not turn the side-chain a little be moe aggressive? I think that could give more drive.

I think there's many good ideas ... Stronger BDR, side-chaining more ... little bit of EQ here and there ... Slap some magic stuff on the master like Auburn Lense ;-)

It sounds a bit like an electronic punk rock song. The approach is well done, if that was your intention.

The whole passage to the end of the song is well done. Insert such passages earlier to get the listener's attention.

I think the mixing needs some love.... drums/perc are way back so they don't properly drive the section.  I'm not a big fan of sjidechaining, but am a fan of balancing the mix so the Bass and Drums provide a solid foundation for the rest of the track to work against.

The mix could do with a lot of love. Also the soundstage is really rather central ...

Those stabbed chords are a bit overwhelming ...
