From time to time, i´d choose a track i like and tallatize it. Sometimes its a slower progressive tune, other times something completely different. When i heard "Alan Walkers - Faded" i was enchanted by the atmosphere and the vocals. I thought this track should be also danceable for the uplfting crowd and after tallatizing from 90 to 136 bpm it became such a nice rework, that armin van buuren picked it up, played it at asot 755, asot 750 miami, asot 756, asot 757 and called me "the master of reworks" ...awesome, right ;-)

Terra Nine Live Podcast - Featuring the upcoming 'Heart of the Matter' EP

Talamasca is in full preparation of his upcoming album 'A Brief History of Goa-Trance'. A special project where he tackles some of the genre's pioneering artists and tracks into a very danceable contemporary mash-up version. As a prelude to what's coming you can now already enjoy our tribute to X-Dream, which we did together. I had the pleasure to work on it with my partner in crime Cédric, it was much fun! 

X-Dream is an important foundation of Goa-Trance, the root from which many artists got inspired.

The list of tracks we have chosen to use: 

X-Dream - Children Of The Lost Generation
Possibly their first hit. I remember seeing them live in 1993 at a Gaia party in France. This track was the peak of the party and all parties to come for the next few years!

X-Dream - The Second Room
This is one of the melodies that imprinted itself into my mind for years. It has been an inspiration for some of my own melodies, including Time Simulation.

X-Dream - As A Child I Could Walk On The Ceiling
Another epic and classic Goa hit. Need I say more?

X-Dream - The Frogs
Could be considered their 'iconic sound' from the mix we have made. This was brilliant originally and it has stood the test of time to remain brilliant today. There was no way to avoid having this in the mix.

Johann Bley - Stranded (The Delta Remix)
I remember blasting this remix everywhere I went, every party, everywhere. Even if you are not old enough to have heard the original guitar riff, you know it (for example also Astrix used it in his 'Old Monsters' track).
By the way 'The Delta' is an X-Dream side project from whom we snuck a few elements into this tribute.

X-Dream - Coming Soon
One of their best tracks that we love for the 'stomping sound' and that is why we used it at the full-on part of the tune. 

The result is what you can listen to here. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it. If you are a life-long X-Dream fan it will be challenging for you to name that song, so to speak. If you are too young to have experienced X-Dream first-hand then this is the perfect introduction to the X-Dream catalog. And if you like what you hear you can always dig deeper.

ANDREAS KRAEMER - construct rhythm PODCAST NOV2012 (DOWNLOADLINK IN DESCRIPTION)

Zyrus 7, also known as Talla 2XLC or RRAW! is an international DJ and producer from Frankfurt in Germany.

At an early age he was already addicted to the magic of electronic music, started to work as a DJ in the 70’s and founded the Technoclub in 1984. After markedly influencing the trance scene in the 90‘s he also began playing progressive trance in the end of 2002. Since then, he has played and performed at festivals like Ultra Miami, Dreamstate, EDC Mexico, Rolezinhos Brazil, Nature One and Indian Spirit, next to people like Astrix, Infected Mushroom, Neelix and more. Therefore, he decided in 2014 to start a new project and Zyrus 7 was born.

Zyrus 7 did collaborations with great Progressive Psy artists like Zyce and Liquid Soul and is part of the Blue Tunes Records family as well as founder of the Dreamscape label.
