i didnt write the original songs or record the original midi files, i modified these midi files for play through a single instrument from their originals, then used fruity loops to modify the note arrangements, instruments, and velocities, octaves, remove drums, condense in to more simple channels, etc, then used midiplayer 5 to play the midi files and audacity to record them being played by the program. i wanted the midiplayer 5 instruments and not the fruity loop ones, i like how they sound and i wanted to be able to listen to these specific versions without the midi player. they are arguably not the original artists renditions in the sense i just used the note arrangements for most of them and i mostly just wanted to be able to listen to them off the computer. i did make changes to the notes and the end resulting mixes, i just used the midi files for the same notes i would write anyway. in some cases the notes were either way to high or way to low to play through the midi input on the instruments in the game rust. so i had to shift the octaves to be within those ranges. the tldr, i did *stuff* to these where otherwise the original midi files sounded horrible and were unplayable through rust instruments.
