So this is as raw as it gets! I simply recorded a single track of vocal and acoustic onto my DAW for Android. I use several different DAWs ... I believe this one was off BandLab.  This song was the spur of the moment kind of thing and it came out naturally. Shit I didn't even bother turning the fan off as you can tell. This song is about being told how to act while being trapped in a box. Then after being trapped for so long you decide to vocalize your own set of rules.

When I first met Dizzy he was posting his work on a poetry subreddit. People were trolling him even tho his work was phenomenal. So I reached out to him and told him I'm basically in the same boat but with music and on SoundCloud.

I enjoy working with PB because she is all about music literally 24/7. We definitely have a big brother and little sister type of relationship. I've had to put her on block status a couple times but that's just how it goes between us. With all that being said ... Thank you Pyper for being one cool MF to work with.

At 0:13 you can hear me let out a faint sound of frustration. I left it in there as a reminder not to record percussion live anymore.

Most of the music on this track was composed on my shitty Mustar keyboard. Maybe someday I will be able to buy a Roland Phantom 8 or a Korg Pa5x ... shit I'd be happy with a MiniNova. Any one of those would definitely be a game changer for me.

This track only took about two weeks from conception to completion. Pyper was worried about Reverend Totality®'s mental state after video chatting with him and didn't want him on the track. I think it was bc he called her a "bloody cunt" several times.. but anyways something inside me told me to press the issue of keeping him on this project. I think it turned out lovely.
