Dosem is a synonym for solid productions, deep, soulful House and Techno music, and DJ sets that connect with the audience on a primal level. As his reputation continues to grow, the natural choice is to create an outlet for his music that gives him total creative freedom and a meaning to express what makes him such a highly respected and revered artist. As a result, Dosem is proud to present the birth of his new label project Houstrike.
 
At its core, Houstrike is a label that will exclusively focus on releasing Dosem’s own work, as well as a place for others to collaborate with him and remix his own originals, creating something of a Dosem-themed music lab, exploring a wider spectrum of electronic music genres beyond club music.
 
What matters most to Dosem are the mantras and values of the label. Both soul and passion are key to the project, from the music itself, through all the visual layouts. The ascending line represents the connection between mental and emotional states, from preparation, to action. His first EP “Untold Stories” is the calling card to a label where the link between sound and image are the key of a soundtrack made to listen, feel and dance.

Houstrike (Releases)

The second single in our Introducing series is being presented by Because of Art - the alias of London based producer Alex Grover. Alex has had successes across the entire spectrum of dance music, most notably for his tracks ‘Elevate’ (Nothing Else Matters) and ‘Higher’ (Of Unsound Mind) gaining support across the club landscape, receiving multiple plays on BBC1 and gaining direct support from Spotify, Apple Music & Amazon Music, receiving two New Music Friday slots in 2021.

His LNOE debut single ‘Home’ utilizes the classic housey chord stabs & basslines we all know and love, and re-contextualizes these sounds into a modern soundscape built for the clubs. The highly contagious grooves on the record are set to inspire a lot of high energy moves on the dancefloor.

LNOE Introducing Vol. II - including tracks by DJ P, Steven Weston & Bobo will be out on February 18th. 28th of January will see Because of Art debuting on LNOE with his single ‘Home’ - available across all digital platforms.
