Oh yeah.... superbly -in your face- ... I like how you slide from the intro build into the first lyrical groove, then the complete shift into another 'musical perspective' with lyrics, and wonderful instrumentals into the piano outro... such stride variation as you stretch out for the long haul.

I have to say it, too. Great intro! Love the rhythmn 

The Blob that ate East Texas came from south South Houston. A chemical processing plant disaster victim? An outer space monster mutant? Or Her Majesty's baby daddy out and about in his underpants again? No one knows for sure. 

In this chapter, the Texas National Guard, armed with the latest in laser beam weaponry provided by Texas Instruments, pursue the mad green shape-shifting semi-gelatinous monster toward Buffalo Bayou.

Autumn Nature

What began as a prosaic comment evolved into an enriching collaboration.  Our friend and Soundcloud poet laurate Peter joins us on a fishing voyage.  Seagull, not content to do a simple voice over, remixes the track and places us on a fishing boat, the sea a bit rough, the gulls impatient for part of the catch, and Peter not just reading but dynamically narrating what he is experiencing on the deck of the ship.  What an honor to work with these artists enlarging on our previous collaboration. My sanctuary from archive gleans
The gentle times, wherein my mind
Recalls a childhood spent in dreams
Of bobbing boats on ocean spied.

Here, the call of a benevolent sea
The briny, perfumed honesty
Of adolescent memories.

But whence this salty desert sea
Where once the skinny trawler plied?
Plastic water ocean streams
Where finny, swimmy fish should lie.

Silenced of the chuggy motors
Decimated by their quotas
Where the haddock, cod and herring bloaters?

The factory ships that hoovered clean
Of scaly friends the sea main wide.
Its cheaply speckled high protein
Squandered as the herring gull cried.

Where the fishers, where the boats?
Where the nets, and yellow rubber coats?
Where the pots, and lines and corky floats?

...wherein my mind
Recalls a childhood spent in dreams

Why, they set sail for the past it seems,
Upon tomorrow's ebbing tide.

She said: Gary was going through his hard disk and found some really cool musical snippets that he had recorded and saved for "whenever". SO cool that multiple snippets recorded at various times could (and did) come together for our newest tune. The thing i love most about the music that Gary and I create is that neither of us ever have any idea how the song is going to go..it truly does become a "fluid thing" and it just goes wherever it wants..and we so willingly go right along with it. We just get into the groove and hang out there as long as we wanna. When Gary sent me back the first vocal melody/idea...i was HOOKED...BIG! I won't give anything away until you listen...but, i will say, i do hope by the end that you are just as hooked and singing along with us :) We did the back and forth thing on this tune (how we normally do)...Gary came up with all of the lyrics and the vocal melodies...and i had a blast singing along with him and, also, creating some piano for this. I am always super impressed with Gary's production abilities and how good he makes our tunes sound...lately, he's been experimenting and playing more with our vocals and different vocal effects and i'm having super much fun watching/listening to his musical growth in that area as well. I love how our vocals seem to be living inside the music...and bending and twisting as the music bends and twists. We do hope ya Dig :)

He Said: This is the spiritual successor to the last tune we did "Press Play" it goes deeper into the world of the phony hopeful figures from the future helping us to correct our paths, Who are they? are they even human? Are they corporeal or solid in their form? We are all learning as we go. This part 2 in the "Where here from the Future" series. 

Having said that this song is a little more Space Rock, with a Reggae vibe I think with elements of satire tossed here and there... and when I say tossed I mean it... literally as Jaime said we start a tune and then throw things at it to see what sticks. Usually even if we have a concept and an idea what we want it to sound like and the vibe , we are both always amazed at the end with the contrast from where we start to where we end up.... I think I really challenged Jaime on some of the vocals and I just leave it to her to work it out and when I get the stems I am always above pleased with her sensibility with what sounds cool and how to intermingle her vocal with mine. Toward the end of the song there is a rise of tempo and tone and a sort of time bending all the instrument and Jaime's piano work starts in there and takes us out to the end and I just love it LOVE IT! As well as the cool vocals she did here.
