After triumphantly winning Mixmag's Label of the Decade poll with his beloved Dirtybird clan, there's no denying the adoration for Claude VonStroke. It might be hard to believe that it's been two years since we received an original production from the maestro, but thankfully, the drought has finally come to an end with his brand new collaborative EP called 'Works Well With Others'. The first to arrive is his work with Will Clarke - a bearded and beloved rising star of the eclectic label - on a track called 'Tiny Tambourine'. Although the title says 'Tiny', there's no denying the bumping power of this brand new, classically thumping VonStroke tune.

We've been homies with Leigh Sedley for nearly a decade and we've watched his path as an artist soar to amazing heights over the years. He was actually one of the first headliners we ever booked to play our Jungle party before we ever started Desert Hearts. He truly embodies everything we want from an artist on the label. He has the enthusiasm and energy of an eager young artist, but with one glance at his 20+ year discography and globe-trotting DJ gigs, it’s easy to quickly see what a storied career he’s had.

We’ve brought Gene out to play our Dirtybird BBQs and Campouts and he’s appeared on the label several times over the years on compilations and collabs, so as someone that stands out from the crowd as much as Gene, “Space Girl” is the perfect representation of those qualities—huge, full of energy and will light up any room.

We’ve had a lot of unique collaborations on the label, but it’s not every day that we get three top Dirtybird artists that come together in the studio for one super-sized track. Yet, that’s exactly what happened with “Drummer Loco” from Mat.Joe, Kevin Knapp and Maximono.  Living in the same city of Berlin helps, as these three took advantage of the geography and were able to pump out this amazingly funky jam.
